No longer would we go to the store to pick up a lightsaber and pretend to be in Star Wars and no longer would we experience the joy and happiness that filled our hearts.... Until now! Toys R Us is back and better in a new location down Cardiff Bay I must admit that I was never a big fan of the other Toy's R Us because it seemed dark and unfriendly. But now there have been some big changes to the current store filled with the brightest lights and the bubbliest of people. This is a gigantic store that a child could get lost in for months. It has such a fantastic variety of toys and I can live my dream once again and pretend to have a lightsaber fight in order to defeat the dark side. The number of aisles are staggering but there is always an assistant prepared to help if you need some help about an item or just finding your way around the store. Toy's R Us has the renovation it needed. It is now a happy and bright place that is filled with all the toys in the world along with excellent service. Massively poor packaging resulting in items being damaged in transit. I spoke to Matt (a manager), as well as Joe and Hannah, none of which really sounded like they cared via email and phone, Matt just giving excuses of processes being supposedly changed, but orders for several weeks still being sent out the same way. Some orders were replaced, only to have replacements arrive in the same condition. I've finally given up with them, and cancelled a further 2 pre-orders, and got refunds. I will never use this company again, and would recommend others not to.

The staff are helpful. The small gifts they sell inside are good for party bags or just small gifts to give to people. They have some books at the back which are good. At the front of the shop they have interesting gadgets that are good to look at. All the products inside are good quality and very fun. I would recommend visiting this shop if you want a gag, a joke or a funny book for someone.

This shop is perfect for buying children a little treat or a present. The shopkeeper is very helpful and will order item if you want something they do not have. The shop is lovely and clean. The shelves are well stocked and the items are displayed really well to show them off to there full potential. The shop keeper loves children and doesn't mind them touching the items and moving them around the shop. The only problem with this shop is that the till area is near the back of the store.

A fabulous range of pre-owned games for PC and PS2, with which hubby was particularly pleased. He picked up some bargains for son; 3 pre-owned games for £12 on PS2. Staff are quietly enthusiastic and knowledgeable, providing excellent customer service. Now that we have discovered this place, I can see us having to visit it to drool every time we go to Street.

Toy Cupboard offers a wide range of both boys and girls items, including the old and traditional train sets/Barbies, to the more modern children's crazes for example trading cards. Upstairs was were i scampered, to the toy cap guns, 'top trumps', and more. Although some items have become pretty pricey, most is modestly priced, perfect for easy children's birthday and Christmas Presents.
