I've been seeing Dr. LaMonte since I was kid. He went on to be my kids' pediatrician since I became a parent 12 years ago. My mom started seeing him after one of my brothers was experiencing extreme issues that weren't being taken seriously. After the switch, my brother's health improved because Dr. LaMonte actually took the time to listen and address concerns. I can say as a parent, my experiences have been pretty similar. Dr. LaMonte? A saint. 50 stars. He's so kind, the kids love him, he's never made me feel silly for asking questions, he doesn't pressure me into options I'm not comfortable with and instead helps me find alternatives. I live in Worthington but still drive to Hilliard to see him because I like him that much. I sincerely hope he doesn't retire before my youngest turns 18 because I don't know if a replacement doctor could ever live up to the example he's set. The other doctors here though? Not my cup of tea. Most are fine, if impersonal. They'll do in a pinch but I've just come to utilize the urgent care close to me if a kid is sick and Dr. LaMonte isn't available. There's a particular doctor here that I'd sooner take my kids to the ER for an ear infection than to her. But my biggest complaint, and the complaint of everyone I know who also goes there, the desk staff. I don't think I've ever had a pleasant interaction with them if I had to do anything beyond simply check in. Imagine Smaug guarding the Lonely Mountain treasure. Picture McDonald's employees protecting their extra dipping sauces. Monty Python's Black Knight guarding his bridge if you will. This is the vibe I get from the front desk anytime I need a form, or to request an appointment, or to pick up filled out forms, or to ask the doctor a question. Like I don't understand their level of gatekeeping and why the simplest requests turn into some epic tale that'd make George R.R. Martin proud. So the too long;didn't read version is if you can get an appointment with Dr. LaMonte the weird desk staff is worth it even though they're extremely frustrating. But I wouldn't really bother if I had to see another doctor at this practice. read more

My children have been seeing Dr.Reis for about 10yrs now! I love that he remembers them, so it's a personable experience everytime. He takes his time to listen to them (and me). No matter the reason we are there, my children are comfortable and confident with him. This office is always clean and the staff up front have always been really nice! read more

I haven't been into the office yet, but the people I've spoken with on the phone to make my first appointment were very courteous, professional, polite and friendly. I am excited to see the office and meet the doctors and staff. I'll update my review after my son's appointment. ** UPDATE ** I've been bringing all four of my children to this practice now for probably 2-3 years, and I am grateful for the excellent care they provide. When my children have been sick or I have had concerns about their health, they have always been quick to get us in and seen. I have had one frustrating experience when one of the receptionists forgot to check us in, therefore we waited for over an hour before I went up and asked what was happening because people who were coming in long after we did were being called back. Unfortunately, by that time, it was so far beyond our appointment time that we had to leave and come back later in the day. I assume it was an honest mistake because I believe the receptionist we dealt with was newer, and perhaps inexperienced. This has not been a regular experience, and in fact, has not happened since. Overall, I am happy with the care my children receive here, and will continue to bring them back. read more

Do not use this office! I brought both of my kids to this office as new patients over a year ago. I brought my 4 year old daughter in several times because she was complaining of leg pain, hip pain and she would get very fatigued when she would play. She was in so much pain she was crying some days. I brought this up to the physician Dr Schultz and he dismissed it saying "she is faking" he tested her reflexes and said she was fine. Even with her history of extreme toe walking, gait issues and more he refused to give us any referrals to find out what was going on with my daughter. Finally after pleading he gave us a referral for physical therapy. I still knew something was not right but he would not do anything more. A year later after finding a new pediatrician my daughter has been to see Neurology and they found a lesion on her brain, she has to have a series of casts to correct the toe walking as well as intensive physical therapy. I will forever remember Dr Schultz telling me that she was "faking" it. He himself tested her reflexes and shocker every physical therapist and her new pediatrician notices abnormalities right away. I was in tears with my new pediatrician when she finally listened to me. I will make sure that I tell everyone to avoid this office. They do not care about you or your family at all. I felt that as soon as they found out that I had Care source as a secondary they treated me different. I finally started speaking up for myself when they billed my insurance wrong and then refused to fill out paperwork for my son. After a very heated phone call with the office staff where she basically told me there was nothing they could do to fix their error and I should have caught it sooner. I cursed while hanging up the phone. What they were doing, refusing to fill out my paperwork was going to affect my sons care (he is disabled) as well as put my job at risk. I tried explaining that I could not take off work to bring my son in to get the paperwork filled out, I also explained that bringing him in for another appointment when we had just seen the physician would cause him undue stress. They did not care. I work in the medical field and I could not imaging treating a patient like that. I would get fired but this person was backed up. They discharged me from the practice, even though I had no intention of returning. I have never been treated with more disrespect. Between that issue and the way the physician missed an important diagnoses of my daughter I wish I had never taken my kids there. If you care about your children you will avoid this office. They physician does not care nor does the office staff. read more

We've seen Dr Rayo for the past 8 years since our son was born. She stays very up to date and is very active in living a natural life. We've always felt very well taken care of and that she gives us the best advice. read more

I have been seeing Dr. Lamonte for my son for a year now and wish I had seen him way before. He is such a great doctor , I can't say enough. He makes each process so easy for both me and my son. Takes all the time that we need without rushing out like some other doctors do. He is really good with my son and knows how to make the experience at a doctors office enjoyable and easy. I love this office! Very clean, friendly atmosphere. They recommend you come in 15 minutes before your appointment and besides that, my boyfriend and I have never had to wait. Our daughter sees Dr. Rayo and we love her, but I've also met with a middle aged male doctor (don't remember his name) who was great too. The whole nursing staff is very nice and professional as well. Overall great place to bring your child. read more

We received the most horrible customer service at Pediatric Associates in Hilliard. At our most recent visit we were forgotten about for two hours. The cleaning person peeked in and was surprised we were still there. She didn't apologize, but said she'd check on the situation. She told the nurse and we overheard them laughing about Dr. Robert Reis forgetting about us for two hours. No nurse updated us the entire time. We overheard the nurse tell the doctor he'd forgotten about us and he told her she should have told him. When the doctor entered he acted like nothing was wrong. I expressed my displeasure with waiting and said, "I know the medical profession isn't typically seen as being in the customer service industry...." He interrupted me and said, "Now don't start that! Don't even start that." He continued to be unprofessional, blame his staff, and then blame us. I was appalled by how he was talking to us. I've waited in doctors' offices for up to four hours at clinics and I've always been treated well by doctors and staff, so I never got upset. I know people get busy. I told him this was poor customer service and he said, "Well, you could have left. Do you want to continue?" We left. What a horrible experience! read more
