Dr. Weaver and staff are so nice and knowledgeable. I went to him a few times for an ingrown…read moretoenail and the procedure was quick and painless (thanks to the lidocaine). I would recommend him for any foot care procedures. I was scarred to visit someone for my ingrown toenail at first...but he made me feel comfortable...going in is a lot better than being in pain!!

A Foot Care Center responded to my original review by posing as a reviewer themselves. I will post…read moretheir response here, as I am certain their review will be removed, as it is against Yelp's policy for someone affiliated with the business to post a review. My original review: "After being hit by a car, I called this office months ago and asked if they would accept auto insurance. They said, "Sure, " and set up an appointment. I got a babysitter and waited probably at least half an hour in their waiting room, filling out mounds of paperwork. Was called up to the front desk. Told they had made a mistake and would not be seeing me that day. Was told that they were in the process of learning how to take auto insurance. Was told that they were definitely going to take it, but they needed a couple of weeks to get their system set up and then they would call me to set up an appointment. The lady that told me all this was so apologetic and so sure that they would fix this for me that I waited. No one called. As my foot has been bothering me more and more and I don't know how long before my auto insurance would close out my claim, today I called them to find out if they were able to accept the auto insurance yet. Was told unequivocally that they had decided not to take auto insurance after all. I pointed out that it would have been nice if someone had called me so that I could look for a different podiatrist and was asked if there was anyone who remembered me and was given a weak apology and told that they had "all new staff." I never got a chance to meet the doctor, but I definitely would not recommend this office based on their organization and patient interaction. I would also like to add that I was so upset by this that I had to specifically create a Yelp account to review this office. I've never seen the need to leave a review on anything before." Their response: "This is a reply to Jessica's review: Jessica, I spoke to you the other day and again we are truly sorry that you feel the way that you do. One of our employees gave you the wrong information about us taking Auto insurance, which we do not take. To receive a review like you gave us saddens me, everyone makes mistakes. I did contact our employee, she remembered, she also said that she is very sorry she forgot to give me the information to call you. Dr. Weaver has been in the area since 1986 and all of his patients love him as do we and for you to want to say bad things hurts him and he's never met you. We as a team at a Foot Care Center, work very hard to help our patients in every way and we can't always make everyone happy but we sure do try. I'm sorry the information was not passed on to have me call you when we made the final decision not to take Auto Insurance. Our company has a very good reputation and we pride ourselves on that and for you to try to break that down because of something like this breaks my heart. There is nothing else we can say except for, we are sorry. Sincerely Tracy Weaver" And my response is as follows: "Your apology is greatly diminished by your attempt to chide me for leaving an honest review on an experience I had in your office. That is extremely unprofessional of you, as well as dishonest. You can't scold people for leaving negative reviews, you should welcome all feedback. And it was not one interaction I had, not one employee who just gave me misinformation. I was told over the phone that it was accepted, set up for an appointment. When I showed up for the appointment, I was told that she was corrected on that and you were still in the process of beginning to accept car insurance and someone would call me to schedule an appointment when that was taken care of. I did not complain at that time, it was the fact that no one cared to get back to me and tell me to schedule an appointment with another office that led me to write a review. I did not insult anyone. I did not say anything against Dr. Weaver, I would have no reason to, as I was not even able to meet him. Because no bothered to update me on the policy, even though I was reassured after wasting my time in your office that special care would be given to me, I have now lost about two months of time that could have been spent rehabilitating my injury. I already have an appointment with another podiatrist, I was not asking anything from you, not even another apology. I am not attempting to "break down" your good reputation, although I do believe that if you cared more about your reputation, you would keep your word to prospective patients and you certainly wouldn't leave churlish replies to reviews. One bad experience/review won't hurt your business, most people understand that everyone makes mistakes. But your response can certainly be telling. Any attempt to silence a negative review or talk down to someone for reviewing their experience will certainly make people wonder why you can't take criticism gracefully."

I picked them primarily for their location and very glad I did. It is a walk in so my concern was being there for hours. I arrived about 10am and was called in within about 15 or so minutes. The doctor whom I saw was Dr Erika Johnson. Dr Johnson was very nice to deal with, discussed my situation and we had a plan. I think the best thing is you never felt rushed or that it was some sort of treadmill type of facility. It was as if I was at my physicians office back home. Would not hesitate to use them again and will recommend them and Dr Johnson as well.

After waiting nearly an hr in waiting room, there was no communication btwn staff, we must've seen 3 MAs over 5 different times for a walking boot. The DO claims she read his PMH and RX list which included anticoagulant and still pushed for NSAIDs.. which I refused. She came in with an aircast that could fit my kid. When I refused to the aircast she returned w/a walk-in boot which she handed to me saying " u do this all the time, so u do it". Like wth Today appt was at 1015, got there at 945, and wasn't seen til 1120.. I had to go out of the rm to find out what's going on. I was told another MD just came in 30mins ago and they r playing catch up‍. At least the MD was more knowledgeable than the 1st one. Still makes me scratch my head with certain thing or way it's done. We were not told abt a FU appt, he barely looked at my fiances ankle.. just said " no bruising on bottom of foot that a foo sign, cuz that means surgery ". Like smh.. then asked my fiance what his restrictions should say?! Aren't u the Dr here ? All I'm saying is "employer if ur looking for OCC health " don't choose Concentra. I've been a nurse for 25yrs, and nothing has changed sadly.
