I've been going to Dr. Digiorgi for quite a few years now. It wasn't until my last two appointments…read morethat I started to see a lack of interest in customer service and keeping patients happy. Last Tuesday I had my annual checkup scheduled for 11am. Shortly after 11am I was called back to get my blood pressure and weight taken. I was then placed in a second waiting area for another twenty minutes or so--thankfully there was another woman sitting there I could talk to. Eventually I was led into my room. And then I was left there. For at least another 25 minutes. I don't know about everyone else, but when someone is over an hour late for a scheduled appointment, I get irritated. And what really irked me was the fact that Dr. Digiorgi wasn't even apologetic when she came in. She simply retorted that I should always expect a gynecologist appointment to take a minimum of two to three hours out of my day. Seriously? That's absurd! She's not a cable company--unless she'd prefer to be compared to Comcast, which I will gladly do. Well excuse me, but her time is not more valuable than mine. I'm sure if I were late to my appointment, they would make me reschedule. Whatever happened to doctors being respectful of other people's time? Is it just in Florida? When I lived in the Arlington, VA area this rarely (if ever) happened. If someone is running well over an hour behind, the office should be notifying patients when they sign in. Guess who had to miss a meeting due to the lackadaisical actions of her gynecologist? Needless to say, I will NOT be returning to Dr. Digiorgi's office.

I saw PA Matt Walk - he was wonderful! Very nice, professional, thorough, and patiently explained everything. Everyone was very friendly and helpful - from checkin, X-ray, through checkout. Lexie and another of the medical assistants were also great! My cast was very thick and difficult to cut off. And although I hope to never see them again - I highly recommend!

Last month I was feeling pain and discomfort and saw him again. On that visit he told me different people heal differently. Well, today is 7 months later and my lack of stability and discomfort has not improved at all. I tried to tell him that on my last visit my concern and he pretty much told me it takes time. I made an appointment at another office and hope for a better outcome.

I waited 45 minutes and still did not get called and inquired about it. I noticed people going in after I had been there. So. visibly annoyed I asked again and said I would be outside. Was then called in, and waited again and when I went looking for water, Dr. asked if I was lost and wasn't going to put up with this BS. He told me his staff said I was a problem. Regardless of whether I was annoyed or whatever, instead of being met with understanding and maybe a sorry about the wait, they told the boss I was a problem leading to the doctor to reprimand me and I didn't hold back on him either. I think it is very wrong for them to make anyone wait an extensive amount of time. There are times these things happen, but you deal with them in a better manner that does not precipitate further animosity in a heighten emotional situation. In other words, say you're sorry to the patients for their wait and don't act like you just have to put up with anything because, well your here to see the "doctor".

Then a couple of months later, my Right Femur fractured, Dr. Leach was gone, so another Dr. was going to do my surgery. It was a Monday morning and as I was wheeled into pre-op, Dr. Leach came around the corner, and he said she is mine! I was so happy! He did a wonderful job! He was one of the Dr.'s that started the group, since then I have had an Achilles repair from Dr. Schwartz he was good too.

They prepped my back and he came in, told me I'd feel some pressure and gave me injections. No help. On the 3rd visit he asked me where the pain was. I pointed to my lower spine. He said the pain has shifted and insurance won't cover the 3rd round of shots. That's the last I saw him. I'll look else where. I also should mention that a nurse took me in a smi private cubicle and whispered that I had oxy detected in my blood test. She made me feel like a criminal. Uncomfortable.

Only a few days out of surgery and the shoulder feels better than when I went in with minimal medication. Was taking 4000mg. Of acetaminophen prior to surgery now only a few days post surgery I can cut that number in half.
