Mr. DeKruyff had 2 client interviews the same day at the immigration office. Instead of him asking USCIS to schedule the appointments at seperate times, he didn't. Causing my brother and his wife to go into the interview alone without knowing what would happen. Immediately upon entering, my brother was arrested by ICE not knowing what was going on. Mr. DeKruyff was paid thousands of dollars for his "service". What kind of attorny leaves their client alone at the MOST important moment? Also, upon looking at all the paperwork, I'm no immigration lawyer, but just a little research showed me he did not do his homework with my brothers case. There were a couple different ways this could have gone and Mr. DeKruyff gave my brother hope and sent him in the worst direction possible. BEWARE: Do NOT use this law firm for any immigration cases. My husband and I hired this firm back…read morein 2022 for his immigration status. We paid $15,000 for them to do nothing for us... it gets worse. When we were making payments, they were calling constantly to check in on my husband (because they wanted to make sure their payment was coming.) When it came time for our first court date - no one showed up. They hired an outside lawyer who knew nothing about our case, the judge didn't even know why we were there because we drove over 2 hours to be there and stated that we could've done a video call and that our case was dismissed. After that we started our petition case. They lost our paperwork and documentation 3 times. We had to pay out of pocket to get them documents over and over again. To this day, we still don't know where those documents are or whose hands they are in, which is terrifying. They rushed our paperwork because of this even though we knew we needed more they still filed. We never got any calls or check ins after all the money was paid. We never knew who had our case because we never were able to talk to the same person, when we would personally call to check the status. We knew it would take time but never heard anything. We then personally got a notice in January from USCIS that we did not have representation starting June of 2024. That is 2 years of no representation! When we called they stated "oh the previous attorney had left and we did not know about your case." Excuse me? They then proceeded to be pushy and making up excuses for their actions. They then said we would need to pay another $15,000-$20,000 by Adrian for them to take on our case again because we were denied from USCIS because we were never aware of what was going on. We then requested for an invoice of everything that was paid for with the previous $15,000 at the end of January. We are now in June and still haven't received anything. We called multiple times to talk with Adrian to receive this information, they kept telling us he was on "lunch" and that "he will call you back."We have not heard from anyone since then. That is why this is being written. We obviously did not hire them again. They are untrustworthy, disorganized and just looking for their big pay out. I wouldn't even give this law firm a 1 star rating since this has been traumatic and emotionally traumatizing for our family, but yelp won't let you leave zero stars. Please be aware and do your research before hiring any immigration law firm, and highly suggest you do not use this law firm.
