They have many sharp suits, jackets, trousers, etc. I walked away with a very fine corduroy blazer in a lovely beige colour. Ace. I would probably have bought some trousers too if my runner's legs were a bit more accommodating to the fit. Additionally, the gentleman working at the shop was very friendly and helpful, providing a lot of context about the production that went into each of the pieces. Be they the stylish wallets, trendy shades or somewhat (in my opinion) tacky headphones to match your clothes, The Mole has got colours and styles to impress... Not great value, but offering exceptional quality, The Mole is a place to treat yourself, or to blow that big bonus (not that I've ever had one to wield).

The prices are reasonable, but you will obviously shell out a fair bit for a full suit. If you are looking for something a little bit out off the ordinary, you may find something to your taste in Passport.

The older gentlemen in there wearing suits were polite and very welcoming...when we came back an other assitant was making snide comments about how I was to celebrate my birthday and talking down to us like some entitled toff ruining my experience of what I thought was a very nice shop. Also giving us a damaged box and explaining this how they come from shipping wasn't great on a £200 pair of shoes.

I may return to Badger once I have a high-paying career...but at the moment, I'll find cheaper shops.

Although the shop is small, space is well managed, with things hanging on walls and double-level clothing racks. It appears to have a downstairs, but I discovered there's a separate skateboard shop downstairs. It almost fits the male/sportsy theme, but is technically another shop.

Can't say I've seen that before. Other offerings were mugs, recycled notebooks and some hilarious cards that I hung around for awhile to read.

Some shirts were folded neatly along bookshelves (intermixed with books, of course) whilst others were hanging in closets. The shop's first floor includes a den - complete with television and pinball machine - and a bedroom, where socks neatly peek out from one of the dresser drawers. Sales clerks were bustling around, tidying every section as though they were expecting visitors at any minute. They all seemed to be really dedicated to their jobs, though too focused to offer assistance or greetings. This shop was a treat to look through, although I wouldn't buy anything. It's quite pricey. (I must admit it was tempting to pick something up, as my initals were embroidered onto everything. Personalised sweat pants!)

They have a store for older people called Aubin Wills!! It's still preppy, but more mature. Sadly the Brighton store is closed. As well as offering individual and customised suits, their Brighton shop sells off the peg suits, shirts, silk ties, cravats and cufflinks.They also do a lovely range of silk hankies with ladies in various states of undress. I'd love a black suit with skull and cross bones in the lining but I'm not sure my budget would reach to both arms....

Gresham Blake is Brighton's most famous bespoke tailors, and for good reason: it offers a huge…read moreamount of different materials and cuts to create your perfect suit, as evidenced by the hundreds of testimonials from local and national celebrities. It's almost too pricey for the common Brightonian, but prices do start quite low, and can be even cheaper if you buy off the rack, and there are some very nice items on there as well! There's even a women's section: everything you might need from a bespoke tailors, really. The main problem here is price: these aren't prices for mortals, I feel. Still, when you enter the shop, you are treated well, even you don't hand over an American Express Gold card upon entry. However, without the necessary cash, much of what Gresham Blake offers will forever be closed to you. I wish I had the cash to get a tailor made suit here, I'd go for something really original and different (definitely some shades of pink), but that will remain a pipe-dream for some time, I feel. If you have the cash, though, you could do much worse!
