Such a high quality meal and experience for your money! Food was endless and service was fantastic. I would recommend making a reservation because it does get crowded, especially on weekends.

I made a reservation for a group of 10 people on a Saturday night. We were seated downstairs at a big round table It is BYOB We ordered the banquet dinner and as 10 girls, it was way too much food The fish and vegetables were good, but honestly everything else was basic, okay. The highlight of our meal was the Peking duck and in hindsight we would just order 3 Peking ducks, some veggies and call it a night. They do wrap the Peking ducks for you which was nice! We had so many leftovers Pro tip: you can ask to wrap up the Peking duck carcass to bring home and make rice porridge or soup!

Second time here after a long time & i'm glad i came back. Our third pick after realizing that most places in Chinatown close earlier compared to pre covid. Came on a Sunday at 8pm and we got seated fast. Party of 10 with family from out of town. Nobody wanted the peking duck But happy with the rest of our order. Place is clean and little more formal, and staff seems friendlier & less rushed than most places in Chinatown. Recommends this place esp for a bigger group.

nice space works well for large parties and celebrations (especially to share duck together). the peking duck wraps are a little bigger and thicker than im used to (felt more like a tortilla). the place is byob (except for beers which they sell. helped us like our candles for our cake (as well as like 5 other peoples). the duck is delicious and juicy. wouldnt mind coming back here

Team lunch at Peking Duck House in Chinatown. Table cloth Chinese, excellent service, nicely decorated on the main floor. More pros than cons. BYOB with exception for beer as they sell it. Sesame cold noodle was fantastic Spring rolls were excellent Dumplings pan fried with pork were very good Soup dumplings were perfect Honey ribs were not good, my preference is for traditional red sauces ribs...no flavor Beef on the stick was awesome Shredded beef was excellent Duck was beautiful but lacked flavor if that is possible, I ate the duck without the pancake or sauce...the sauce helped...still good not great Orange chicken was very good I did not have the rice or noodles I would definitely return Thankfully I did not pay the bill

Did the 2 person dinner special. Did not realize how much food there was going to be. It was very filling. Can byob which was nice. The wraps for the duck were quite large. Duck flavor was good. Would mainly come back for the duck. The lamb entree was very saucy. All in all, not a bad spot for Peking duck

Hit this up with the family for the holidays, and was reminded their veggies here are quite good, too. Mixed veggies in a brown sauce and the spinach with garlic were both very tasty, although a little greasy. Yes, there was the duck (and we took home the bones for soup and cooking), and they showed you the full and carved near your table - that always entertains the kids. Delicious and crispy and fatty.

The Peking Duck still is very good as you would expect. Unfortunately the rest of the food is merely ok. I have been to Peking Duck House many times over the last several decades, but sadly it is not as good as it used to be.

Duck was good Chinese food was mid. Ordered the duck and asked them to bring the whole duck chopped up after they sliced it. They usually take the corpse after cutting it for you but still tons of meat on the duck that you don't get. Place is crowded, crammed, and loud.

OMG! Recently went back for the Peking Duck and it was disappointing! From the craving on the duck/skin to the dish with duck meat, and the soup with the bone, it was just not up to par at all. Soup was really really bland. Also noticed that it was a Friday night and surprisingly we were the only Asian, the whole time we only saw non Asian customers dinning. That should tell us this place has fallen from grace, as it used to be the go to place for Peking Duck in Chinatown back in the days.

A really easy spot to miss, Peking Duck House is a must try for anyone looking for some delicious Peking duck! The exterior is a bit shoddy but inside is a really spacious and nice restaurant with ample seating. It does get busy around the evenings, especially on Fridays and Saturdays. The Peking Duck dinner is $59 per person for half a duck, soup, a variety of appetizers, any entree on the menu, fried rice, and fresh fruit. I loved the Shrimp Sizzling Rice soup over the Wonton soup. I felt it had a lot more flavor and was just better overall. Of course, the Wonton soup was good but not anything remarkable. The apps include Chicken with Pinenut in a lettuce cup, BBQ Beef, a Spring Roll, and a steamed Vegetable Dumpling. You get one piece of each - I liked the Chicken and the Beef, especially the latter, which was well made and tender with tons of flavor. The roll and dumpling were average but still good. Finally, the Duck! It was carved tableside, which was a nice touch. The Peking Duck came with hoisin sauce, celery and cucumbers, and crepes to wrap it in. It was so delicious - very crispy yet tender and juicy and succulent. It paired well with the sauce, cucumbers, and crepe. My only qualm is the portion - I felt it was a small amount for the price and for two people to share. For our entree, we got the Crispy Duck, which was also delicious but 2nd to the Peking Duck. The Crispy Duck was cripsy but a bit on the saltier side, which I didn't like. Lastly, the fruits that we got for dessert was my least favorite. It was clear that the fruit wasn't fresh as the cantaloupe looked soggy and the kiwi looked dry - honestly, I would have preferred no dessert than the fruits. Overall, this was a good spot for Peking Duck, although it is on the pricey side. It's a really nice and clean spot and can accommodate large parties. I recommend checking it out if you're in the area and craving Peking duck.

Got off the E train and when we looked for Chinese food, this place popped up with good reviews and it was just a short walk from where we got off the train. My buddies ordered the special lunches and we also got two types of xlb's, beef chow fun, and some fried dumplings. The special lunches come with a little fried rice, cold garlic flavored noodle, choice of egg drop or hot and sour soup, and main side. My buddies all enjoyed their meals. The beef chow fun was also really good and beef was nice and tender. The xiao long baos were excellent and is comparable to any place in California like DTF. Nice and juicy and great with some ginger, soy sauce, and spicy chili. Friendly service and food comes out pretty quickly. Credit card is accepted. Bathroom was also very clean, which is sometimes rare in some Chinese restaurants I have been to. If you're looking for a good Chinese meal, stop here when you're in the Chelsea area.

"How 'bout there?" he responded pointing to Excellent Dumpling House. It was directly across the street. I pulled up Yelp, saw good reviews and readily agreed. At 3:30, the restaurant was empty. There were a few takeout orders, but we were the only people sitting down for late lunch. And y'know ... it was pretty good. Wonton soup is what I'd expect in Chinatown. Wonton wrappers were thin -- my preference -- the stuffing delicious and the broth flavorful. They were generous with the beef in our chow fun. Good, but the noodles needed a jolt. So I asked for soy sauce which was sort of a solution. Shrimp with vegetables was great. A lot of shrimp, too. There are lunchtime specials on weekdays, reasonable prices, and nice people work there. Next time it makes sense to try dumplings since it is, after all a dumpling house.

Located within the historic Chelsea Market building--a former Nabisco factory where Oreo cookies were first produced--the restaurant feels theatrical in the best possible way. The soaring ceilings, dramatic lighting, and energetic atmosphere create a sense of occasion from the moment you walk in. It feels less like simply going out to dinner and more like stepping into a beautifully staged production. I started with a Botanist Gin Martini with a twist, which paired wonderfully with the meal. The surprise star of the evening was the new Cucumber Tiger Salad. The balance of flavors was exceptional: bright acidity, a pleasant touch of heat, and just enough mint to make each bite feel fresh and exciting. Every so often the mint would come through and suddenly all the flavors would click together in a way that made me immediately want another bite. This is a dish I would happily order again. Next came the Edamame Dumplings. They were delicate and comforting, especially when enjoyed with the accompanying broth. The broth adds depth and richness that elevates the entire dish. My only suggestion would be the slightest touch more salt, perhaps even a finishing sprinkle of black volcanic salt for both flavor and presentation. I also found myself wishing there were a bit more of that delicious broth because it contributes so much to the overall experience. For my entrée, I ordered the Glazed Alaskan Black Cod, and it absolutely lived up to its reputation. The fish was rich, buttery, and perfectly prepared. What impressed me most was how thoughtfully the accompaniments were composed. The pickled cucumbers brought brightness, acidity, and crunch, while the black bean and eggplant relish delivered deep savory notes and unexpected complexity. I'm generally not an eggplant fan, but this relish was outstanding. The cucumbers and relish sit at opposite ends of the flavor spectrum, yet both somehow make the cod even better. Looking back, I think a glass of Sauvignon Blanc alongside the cod would have been the perfect pairing. I finished with the Miso Caramel Milk Bar, which was spectacular. Decadent, sweet, salty, and touched with just enough umami to keep every bite interesting. The chocolate crumble underneath added a wonderful crunch that contrasted beautifully with the creamy ice cream and luscious caramel sauce. Every component worked together perfectly, creating a dessert that was both indulgent and sophisticated. From start to finish, the meal felt polished, thoughtful, and memorable. Thank you!
