A truck for Pellegrino Landscaping was parked at the building next to my apartment this morning (July 9, 2020). It arrived sometime after 8 am and the worker in charge of the hedge trimming job started becoming verbally abusive to the younger employee who was accompanying him. Not for nothing, but the building they were performing the service at is filled with little kids and, if I could hear them from the next building over, I'm sure everybody in that building and on the rest of the street could hear them as well. The older employee was continually disparaging to the younger employee and using very profane and offensive language (loudly) for well over an hour. After being fed up, I went outside and confronted the older employee and it appeared the younger one quit on the spot after being treated so poorly. In response to my intervention, the older employee proceeded to verbally abuse me. This is not the kind of atmosphere that should be created or rewarded within any company and I would definitely advise against hiring them for yard work or anything else.
