With a…read morecampus situated right on top of a hill, surrounded by glorious views and countryside, and the other right on the seafront, there's something for everyone in Aber (well, maybe apart from nightclubs that one would find in a city). Yes, the town is small, but it has everything you generally need. Food and drinks are cheap, and the sense of community really does exist here. I could keep going forever, talking about the well-stocked library, fun events at the Union, great political record, fantastic courses and how your fitness levels increase by walking up a 45 degree hill every day! I'd go back in a flash.

I am still grateful for what the university did for me. It gave me the capacity to earn a good living, wide cultural and intellectual interests and inspired me to think for myself. It enriched my life in ways that were not obvious at the time. There are still one or two of us from that time who keep in touch.
