The room was nice for the price. It was one of the nicest hotels we stayed on our 3 week French vacation. It had all the amenities including big rooms, nonsmoking, toiletries, nice sized shower, newspapers from around the world, phones, etc. Clean hotel. Easy to find. Nice staff. Negatives: Parking was through a parking house contract which made it very expensive. They had computer in the lobby, but if you needed internet the price was outrageous, although wifi was free.

Okay, we are Americans and so you might think our view on French food would be suspect. Be advised…read morethough that we own the house here and spend a lot of time eating at various restaurants in the region. We loved the food. Casulet of course. Staff was attentive but not intrusive. Service was fast for france. Prices fair. My wife and I shared one order (3 Euro surcharge) and still, it was more than we could finish. Very tasty. Dessert was a lemon meringue pie of sorts, only better than any I have had. It was highlighted with what tasted like key lime sorbet. Yum. You won't be disappointed. BTW it looks fancy from the outside which might make you decide to take you poorly dressed self to one of the seemingly last fancy restaurants on the street. We weren't dressed particularly well but were treated very nicely so that shouldn't prevent you from eating here. And if you think that the other restaurants will be less expensive that would be incorrect. They are all about the same price. Of course having not eaten in the other restaurants I can't give you a comparison all I can say is that my wife and I found this to be a very nice restaurant.

Parking is difficult and you'll have to use the underground car park nearby, not cheap at 19 EU a day - staff will direct you. Very friendly staff at all levels of the hotel and a good quality, varied breakfast. We went for the Executive room which gave more space and a sofa bed for the kids - would definitely go for this room again. 4 stars as clean, reasonably priced and a pretty stylish place to stay.... Is one of the new hotels offering some for TLS not standard features within this price class: - good gym - sauna - steam bath - hot tub The Novotel is located very Central-/downtown at Place Du Capitole. Area offers a wide variety of nice bars and restaurants. Parking is not offered and a parking facility around the corner for 19€/24h can be used. Rooms are clean and equipped with a good bed + international TV. Staff is nice. Hotel Bar and Restaurant is available. Breakfeast is offering an average selection with drinks included. My favourite choice (together with the Grand Balcon Hotel ;) ).
