He is kind, friendly, and generous of the time he spends with you. It is obvious from the start, you are in good hands. I had ankle ligaments and tendons reattached, no simple surgery, and Dr Rano put me at ease the entire time with his approach to patients, clear explanations of his goals and the outcome was exactly as he stated. Dr. Bopf's staff informed us that toenail care for the elderly is covered by Medicare and after 62 days she can get it completely covered again! My mom has been paying cash at other podiatry offices for years because nobody informed her of this Medicare benefit! Excellent service!!!

I called the doctor's office on Jul 1st with somewhat of an emergency. A needle had broken off in…read moremy foot the week before and I had gone to my DPM who x-rayed my foot and stated I needed to have surgery at his surgical center, however, he could not schedule me until Jul 12. After explaining the situation to office staff, I was put on hold a few minutes (I imagine she was conferring with the doctor). She came back on the line and told me they would squeeze me in. Dr. Carey looked at my x-rays, and said he could try and take it out there in the office. He numbed me up, and after a minute or so, he extracted it, stitched me up, and I'm currently on the mend. No surgical center required. Can't tell you how grateful I am that we have such a wonderful podiatrist in the area. Very professional.
