Called twice to get help in getting a larger propane tank for my motorhome. First call was fine, talked to receptionist and she didn't have a lot of answers but said someone would call me. Later got a call from Junior. He asked what I needed and I told him, expecting to pay for a site survey and a large tank. Was prepared to spend the $600-800 to get the tank in for winter but never got a callback. Texted the number again and got no response. Ended up going somewhere else. read more

I was looking to have my propane tank filled for the year because I use it for my fireplace. This is the best time to buy so I called Black Bear Outpost. (See review) They sold me my 100 gallon propane tank and have been delivering to me since 2012. I've never thought of using another supplier until I called them a couple days ago and they said they had no record of me by address or name or phone number. Odd. I found these guys on Yelp and decided to give them a call. They were most helpful and will be delivering my propane next Wednesday. Perfect! I don't remember the gentleman's name, but he was professional and friendly. And as an additional bonus, they are only a few miles away from my house so I will continue to use them in the future. When we moved into our new house, there was a propane tank rented through another company. The seller left us literally with fumes in the tank and that company refused to call us back, no matter how many times we called. I took cold showers and didn't use the stove so the gas could be used for my husband's showers. Weeks later we called Peninsula and told them our situation. We discussed everything and decided to purchase our own tank. They came out the very next day, and if I remember right, it was after work hours. TOP SERVICE! Hats off to Peninsula Propane for helping out today. Due to my own fault, I ran out of propane for heat and hot water after I canceled with my old provider for shady practices. One call to Peninsula Propane this morning and they happy to help. They were able to fit me into their schedule for same day service and on top of all this, they were way cheaper than my last provider. The owner came out a few hours after I called with their backup truck and provided great service. He was a nice guy and I will be doing my future business with Peninsula Propane! I can't say enough about these guys.After searching for a tank to purchase for some time. I came across this company. They offered me a used tank at a reasonable price. I wasn't ready for a fill up right away but when the system was ready they came out and filled my tank up. As winter is approaching now we are using more propane and Jeremiah came out to fill up the tank, He noted some damage to the check valve and said he had a fix, within minutes he had the tank valve fixed and filled up the tank. If you live in Kitsap County and have a propane tank this is the company you want taking care of it. We've been using Peninsula Propane for over a year for regular refills due to their quality service and low prices (not to mention sneaking me in the same week due to my failure to watch our propane level). However it's our most recent experience with Peninsula Propane that really sealed the deal for us. We were in the middle of having a whole-home backup generator installed through another company (NOT Peninsula Propane) when we started identifying issues with their quality of work. These guys used incorrect piping, had an unnecessary amount of joints, and toward the end of installing the line said that an old coupling was too hard to get off so we needed to call someone else. I told my husband to give Peninsula Propane a call because I knew at the very least we could trust them to either fix the problem or point us in the direction of someone else who could. Carlos was out to see us within a day and immediately saw issues with the first installation and provided recommendations on how to steer the other company in the right direction. At the end of it all, the other company ended up paying Carlos and his team to re-install a completely new line from the generator to the propane tank because they had no clue what they were doing. We seriously can't thank you guys enough for helping us out so quickly and giving us peace of mind when it comes to this new generator. We couldn't imagine using another company to help us with our propane services. read more
