The service is always great. In our group we have a few people with some food limitations, (gluten, and more complications). The servers make it easy to accommodate. This is always much appreciated. They served a table for 8 with ease, and kept the wine and cocktails flowing. Food is okay and at times feels dated (veggie medley pictured). But accommodating service and a wide variety of Italian red wines will keep me coming back.

To go order. I don't know what possessed me to try this place again after many years. This was the most disappointing Italian food I've ever eaten. I did a build your own pasta with tomato basil (incredibly bland - basically like Ragú) and a meat ball. Also ordered a lasagna that was extremely small, the size of the palm of my hand. Caesar salad and "focaccia" bread which was just bare pizza dough basically. Utterly depressing, bland, incredibly overpriced. All of that was $52. Never again.

Sparking Pineapple so good. Light refreshing

Last night we had Date night. Francisco was our waiter and provided excellent service We both ordered the Specials. I got Halibut in a Tomato Cream Sauce and my husband got the Ribeye. Francisco recommended the perfect Wine for my fish. The Sonoma Russian River Chardonnay. To start our meal I got a fabulous cocktail. The Sparkling Pineapple Best I have had all Summer. Then for for dessert we have Coconut Flan!!! Fabulous Meal!!!

The pasta I had tasted like burnt rubber and moldy cheese. I returned the plate immediately and the manager was quite rude about it. I can't believe how I was treated and how absolutely disgusting the plate I had was. Also, the staff was wearing their masks under their chins. They are clearly not COVID compliant! Get it together guys!

Creek brûlée (gluten free) and my husband tiramisu.

Food has improved compared to before renovations. The service was ok. Ambiance has definitely improved since renovation again.

Neighborhood Italian place. If it comes from their oven, it's very well made. Pizza crust blistered at 1000°. Perfect

Great service and pasta dish was very tasty. My only complaint was the noise level, hard to hear your dining companions on a Friday night.

We started with the focaccia bread (5/5). Wow--this might be some of the best bread I've ever had. Perfectly crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and the dip was delicious. I usually try not to fill up on bread before the entrées arrive, but we made sure to finish every bite. We also ordered the burrata salad (5/5), which was a very generous portion and absolutely delicious. I would definitely order it again. For our entrées, my friend and I shared the chicken piccata and the bolognese. The chicken piccata was a 5/5 for me, while the bolognese was a 4.5/5. Both dishes were excellent and I'd happily order either again. This visit was a completely different experience from my first one, and I'm glad I came back. I'd love to return with my husband sometime.

The restaurant was very busy, the acoustics made it had to have a conversation and hear each other. Food was wonderful, I had the chicken Parmesan on recommendation from our server and it was phenomenal. Others in our party enjoyed their food as well.

Pretty good. Always drove past the place I wanted to try it out. I remember reading about the name…read morechange fiasco. Came for 6pm dinner rez with my husband. I have plenty of parking in the back. Ordered the chilled crab claw appetizer and the portion was very generous. The crab meat was a bit firmer and drier than I expected, though that may simply be due to it being served chilled. Overall, we enjoyed it. For entrees, we shared the casino linguine vongole (clam pasta)- they split this on 2 plates for us, and chicken parm vodka (forgot to take a photo). Both were very good! We couldn't finish the entrees and so we put them in to-go boxes. I feel like they tasted even better the next day, lol. Service was great!

Wow. Worst service ever. Our waiter "greeted" our table with "shall I get you a bottle and five…read moreglasses?" Presumably meaning wine, but we were considering cocktails and a bit confused by the question. He said "I'll come back when you're ready," and disappeared for the first of many long absences. From the beginning it felt like we were ruining his life. He was cheerless and curt and wouldn't make eye contact with anyone. It would be more understandable if the restaurant was super busy or understaffed. But this was Monday at 6 pm. We listed a birthday on the reservation, but it wasn't acknowledged. Why bother to ask if we are celebrating? We waited for empty plates and glasses to be cleared between courses. We waited a long time for him to return so we could order a second glass of wine. Even longer for the plates to be cleared and longer still for the opportunity to order dessert...a piece of cake for the birthday girl and two after dinner drinks...but the drinks weren't picked up from the bar when the cake was delivered, and only remembered when we asked for the check. We watched him pick them up (well after the cake was consumed) on his way to leave the bill. No mention that they had been overlooked, no thank you, no good night. This was our first time at Barsotti's and it will be our last. Aside from the awful service, we had issues with the food as well. The veal was pounded paper thin and fried hard resulting in a tough, chewy texture similar to dried beef or jerky. It was dry and overcooked on two different dishes. On a more positive note, we enjoyed the fried ravioli appetizer and the redfish was fine. While our waiter was largely MIA and unpleasant when he did show up, the bus boy/assistant was gracious and attentive. Maybe he was trying to compensate for his colleague. BTW, the offensive employee was in his late 40s to mid 50s with a slight build and salt and pepper hair.
