Where do I even start to share how incredible this place is?!?! I started at Pennsylvania Pole Academy in June 2025, and from the second I walked in, I felt welcomed. The owner, Tash, greeted me as a new student, gave me a tour of the studio, and instantly made the space feel warm and comfortable instead of intimidating. I signed up for an all-levels class with zero knowledge of pole and was met with so much kindness from the other students. I never once felt judged for how I looked, what I could or couldn't do, or for messing up (which I did plenty of times!). Instead, everyone was encouraging, supportive, and genuinely happy to see each other succeed. The community here is unreal!! There's so much camaraderie, hype, and care, and it makes such a difference walking into a space where people actually root for you. Since starting classes here, it's honestly been life-changing for me - physically, mentally, and emotionally. This studio offers way more than just pole, too. They have aerial classes like silks, lyra, and trapeze, and the flexibility classes are incredible. The full-body workouts are challenging in the best way--they push you without making you feel defeated and help you condition yourself to gain strength for pole. Every instructor brings something different to the table, and you can really tell how skilled and passionate they are about what they teach. I also love the chair dance classes, handstand classes, and Twerkshop is hands-down my FAVORITE! Also the pole flow classes and the foundations of movement classes are very fun! Every class makes me feel stronger, more confident, and more connected to my body. If you're even thinking about trying pole or aerials--whether you're nervous, brand new, or just looking for a supportive place to move and grow--I'm so glad I found this studio, and I can't recommend it enough!!! read more

I really love this pole studio!!! It's great that there is a studio in this area of the Philly suburbs. There are no other ones nearby really... and this studio has all you need. Fitness, fun, tanning (even though I'm not a artificial tanner) The studio is very cute. I love the pink. It's open and the poles are a good height for climbing. I felt so out of shape because I hadn't been poling for 2-3 months (sad how quick some skills can go away) But I had basically a one-on-one session so I went at a good pace for me. I've been to different studios that have varying degrees of fitness integration but this one definitely puts fitness first. You will leave feeling like you got a good workout! Also, PA Pole Academy has the cutest shirts of any studio I've been to. Whenever I'm back in the area I'd totally come back for a drop in. Good job PA Pole Academy! read more

LOVE LOVE LOVE this place!!! I have been wanting to get back to the gym/fitness for 4 years now but I haven't had the motivation, I use to do heavy lifting 4 days a week. I have always wanted to try doing pole before I even knew it was a type of fitness so when I stumbled upon their website I went that week for my first private session and I KNEW I was hooked! Love the instructor I have she is amazing, patient, works with your abilities but also challenges you to be better! I will soon be joining the unlimited membership, I decided to do one on one classes until I can get to level two with doing that I'm getting there a lot faster because the instructors focus is all on me. This is my favorite place in Doylestown. I tell everyone how wonderful this studio is. They have the best teachers and its a gorgeous studio. I always enjoy coming to class. Exercising can be a little tedious to keep up with. I have fun here and I don't view getting in shape as a chore. Every time I come here I learn something new. Aerial is challenging and fun. I was interested in trying the hot new fitness trend-pole dancing. My friends had tried another studio and said it was a super fun workout. Well boy did I make a mistake going to this place! First of all the ladies running the place were not welcoming at all. This was new to me-the least they could do is show me in and where I could put my things. Instead they were too worried about their tan lines and fake eye lashes. I should have left then but I stayed for a beginner class where I spent an hour being talked down to. So much for instructors-mind you this was my first time ever even touching a pole. When I struggled to get a grip on the slippery thing the instructor blamed me for not being in shape enough to handle it. After an hour of not being able to do much other than some basic stripper moves(involving little fitness, if any) one woman (maybe the owner?) was finally done talking about high heels and lip plumper and decided now would be a good time to try to sign me up for a really great "deal". Ha. Maybe if the staff wasn't so rude and your fitness classes involved fitness I would consider coming back-do for now no thanks. read more

Its sad to say how much a business can change. The teachers after a while started to pick favorites. Some would ignore you in class and only help certain students. Its very very "clicky" here and if youre gone for more then a week...youre not in the click its quite sad. Its a good gym if you're going every day but if youre going once in a while youre going to get lost in the back and ignored. The beginner classes are always doing the same thing, dont think you'll move up with out some help from others (meaninv students there because the teachers everyone but steph are in their own world). When you get to intermediate its really like advanced, You're lost. But their kickboxing classes are awesome though, Jamal makes the place worth it. read more

I am just starting back to excersice after 3 years of sitting on the couch! I wanted to supplement my gym workouts. I was intimidated after watching videos online. BUT, there is nothing intimidating about this group of women, you feel welcome and really encouraged. All sizes and shapes are doing this. It is what you make it. Its hard and definitely an intense core and upper body workout. So, I will be going back. Allie and Ariana were so helpful and the other more experienced girls are happy to help! This is by far the BEST way to work out! It was so much fun! I have never done anything like it before, but I'm so glad I did! It definitely gave me a great workout I was so sore the next day. It let me know I am so out of shape! The staff here is so nice and helpful, they had answers to all my questions. Overall I just felt welcomed and like I fit in! I am definitely coming back! Where do I start? First-our group paid almost $60 a head for a two-hour private class. We were supposed to get an hour introductory pole dancing class and an hour chair class. After the pole class we found out we were not getting the chair class because the studio messed up and that instructor was not there. A drop in class costs $25, so one would think we would get a substantial refund. Instead we got a coupon for 1/2 off another class and $15 back (leaving us still paying almost $20 more for the pole class) Second-No one is going to use that coupon because the class was run so poorly. Our instructor did not know how to teach. She would show a move, let us try it, and no matter how many people were successful, she would move on. In a 60 minute class, we learned at least 30 moves. Not even enough time to really try. We ended up being shown moves that are taught in the intermediate classes. Newbies should not be doing inverted moves especially only since less than a third of us could do a basic move. Third-the class was pole strength training. No dancing. Sorry, but description/title is misleading. Adding music does not mean its pole-dancing. Ladies, make sure you can bench press and shoulder press your own weight, or don't bother. Fourth-the class became a show off session for the instructor. Just a few quotes: "It took me three months to learn this one" "This move is really hard. No one is going to be able to do this" What is the point of showing these moves? It was supposed to be fun for US. Lastly-Not a single one of us enjoyed our experience. Ten people!! This class was supposed to be a bonding and empowering experience for a group of women. We bonded on how horrible this was. Women walked out disappointed because of lack of success and the ego of the staff. Still angry at the waste of money. Buyer beware. read more

I've been going to PA Pole Academy for about a month now 1-2x a week, and I can honestly say I feel amazing! Pole fitness is the most empowering and inspiring workout I've ever tried, and I'm totally hooked! All of the instructors are super nice, supportive, and helpful, and actually go out of their way to give you individual attention if you need it. It's a non-competitive vibe, and the energy is always light-hearted, fun, and positive no matter what level you're at. The space is very clean, ambient, and supportive. I've taken a couple classes here and have just signed up for a full membership. The instructors are amazingly supportive and are able to teach all levels. Going in with absolutely no experience it was a bit intimidating to see these girls do amazing things. But, I'm glad to say after only 5 classes I can climb and do some minor tricks on the pole. I had no idea it could ever be SO MUCH FUN to workout (not to mention how great of a work out it was!). I NEVER saw myself as a dancer (let alone a pole dancer), I had no experience with any sort of dance or gymnastics, and not an ounce of upper body strength. I was a little worried on the car ride to the studio, but my doubts were shattered when I walked through the doors. Both the instructors and the other students were so kind, helpful, and talented. You'd think a dance studio full of females would be intimidating and catty, but the PA Pole Academy is the polar opposite; Everybody is SO sweet, accepting, and inviting REGARDLESS of your skill level. It was also nice to see all of the different classes that the studio offers, not limited to just pole class, there are also Lyra, Aerial Hammocks, Dance classes, Strength building classes, and Flexibility Classes. First of all, let me say I have the hardest time getting motivated to work out. I hate your typical exercise, but I want to get in shape, so I decided to give PA Pole a try. This place has completely changed my thoughts on exercise. Every time I attend a class, my strength, confidence, and flexibility all change for the better. I have to give a huge shout out to Arianna. Take her for Intro to Pole! She pushes you hard and gives a lot of tough love because she really believes in what you can do. I think she's an amazing instructor. This studio is one of a kind and absolutely worth checking out!!! I can't get enough of it. One year later I am still going on a regular basis and I've become so much more advanced than I ever thought I could be. I've been into fitness for a few years before I found the academy, but that was mostly cardio's. I was never a lifter. Now my body is in the best shape of my life. (I can do more pull-up's than my fiancé!) The staff is super friendly and uber supportive. Although I'm a shy and quiet individual, that never stops the teachers from coming around and personally asking me how I'm doing and pushing me out of my comfort zone. They give me great tips on how I can improve if I'm struggling on a move, and they are always willing too push my levels when I don't think I have what it takes. The pole classes are phenomenal. They have different levels to choose from as well as "all level classes," which is really nice because it gives me challenging moves to work on in addition to basic moves that I should brush up on. My favorite part is that even if I go into a class where I think I'm "too good," or one where I think it is way above my skill level, the teachers always strive to give you a similar move to work up to whatever it is they are teaching. So if you can't do the impressive invert they show, they will give you step 1 on how to do the inversion, and so on and so forth. Also, if I can already do a move they are teaching, they will give me a step or two above that move to make it even more impressive. Either way, whether I go back to a Level 1 class or I have the guts to enter a Level 4 class, I always leave feeling like I've accomplished something new and awesome looking. I've also taken several private lessons there, and they are most definitely worth it. They always ask what I want to work on and what my goals are and what I want to accomplish. If there's a move I'm obsessed over, they'll keep me doing it until I'm ready to move on. They let me video tape moves so I can work on them during my own time, and they give me the freedom and private attention that I am looking for. If I had more money I would definitely invest in private lessons more often - especially when you feel like you're in between levels. The aerial classes up the experience ten folds! Although I've never taken a hammock class there, I have grown to adore the Lyra hoop (aerial hoop). It is a gorgeous form of aerial fitness and it is so unique. There's not another studio I've found in Bucks County that offers the aerial hoop, and I couldn't be more ecstatic that I found one near me. I could spend endless hours learning every possible move they have to offer. Lastly, one of my ultimate favorite parts is the opportunity for open studio - meaning you can go during their open hours and practice on whatever you want - pole, lyra, hammock - and just go all out. I think this is a great way to practice all of the cool moves you learn during classes and really get a chance to work on them over and over again. I have so much fun practicing and really perfecting my stunts. I couldn't ask for a better sport where I love what I'm doing every minute while still getting a sensational workout at the same time. This is a 5 star studio and definitely worth checking out if you want to open yourself up to a new and adventurous workout experience! read more
