I am not sure what it used to be but it was huge and cold inside. I guess I would describe the place as a cross between an antique store and a thrift store. Lots of furniture and glassware. The prices are sort of stuck in the same spot between antiques and thrift stores. They had a few items I was interested in, but not for the prices they were asking. They had a small section of electronics and I almost bought an old turntable. I think that if you are looking for fairly cheap furniture pieces, this would be a good place to go. It is probably worthwhile to stop here a couple of times to see if they have a good turnover on inventory or if it is the same stuff. It looks a little sketchy from the road and the only reason I didn't stay longer was due to it freezing inside of the building. I plan to stop here again and take a longer look.

We drove a couple of hours to specifically visit the store and the trip proved to be more than worth it. The store has a great collection of quality gifts, clothing, shoes and accessories. I was pleasantly surprised to find a lot of basic pieces that I will wear time and time again. The kind of items that you actually wear out and then spend a lot of time searching for replacements. This store features great brands that you don't expect to find all in one place. Habitat is one of my favorites but there is also a line of quality clothing that is the store brand. I love the Dawn leggings. I could live in them 24/7. The other really surprising thing was there were a lot of deeply discounted clothes on the sales rack that I wouldn't consider to be sale clothing because they were regular sizes, great fitting pieces, in good colors etc. I love Dawn and hope to see another store open near where I live so I can shop there more often.

We fell in love with an old artwork of Chincoteague displayed at a local restaurant, and we visited this store hoping to find a copy. Store owner went above and beyond to go through their collections to find exactly we were looking for. This made our day! During the checkout, we noticed a big bumble bee and Bernie Saunder's crochet displayed (not for sale) by the counter, and the store owners told us that the local lady made those crochets for them. We couldn't get over how cute and well-made they were, then the store owners even offered to contact her for us! This was our first time visiting this store, and we will be returning every time we travel to Chincoteague!

They had things from arts and crafts, bath items, clothing, homegoods, foods, and much more. It is tiny inside, but it packs a lot in there. I was able to pay ahead for an item and pick up in a few days which was really helpful since I am about 2 hours from them. Pricing was very reasonable especially when comparing to other store in the area and other surrounding areas. Parking can be tricky. It was off season, so I was able to park in the hotel lot that was right next door. But, I am sure when the summer season rolls around parking will be different. When I visited there were a few employees behind the counter. They greeted me when I walked in and were engaging with other customers on and off. So it was nice.
