Do not use this facility for anything! They change their hours and randomly shut down without telling anyone. Drove out of my way for early morning labs and was told the lab was closed and maybe someone would be in an hour later, that's not acceptable post online if you aren't going to be open normal hours and it sounds like this is a regular thing for them. My labs were early morning labs, I was told to go elsewhere, so I had to drive and start over at a different lab and be hours late for work. The good thing about this place is that you can just walk in and see a doctor. And although it occasionally requires a wait, most of the time it's only 15-20 minutes. The last place I went, I really like the doctors, but scheduling was difficult and not at all timely, and waits in the lobby were excruciating. On the other hand, I honestly don't trust some of the doctors here. Some of them have made some weird - or wrong - calls, while others seem to have it together to some degree. read more

If one could define poor healthcare by a company -- Pentucket Medical Associates would be the definition. We are forced to use them because no doctors in our area who are not associated are accepting new patients. We've seen about 6 doctors at this company. They are rude, have spent no more than a minute with us and provide no healthcare that I have been able to detect. I believe most of their patients are there because they have no choice, if they did I cannot see how they could be happy with the service. I would have complained to them directly -- but they provide no way to do that -- so now it is done in public. read more

So far the phone waiting time is unacceptable. Still on the phone and waiting for them to pick up. Also, when I needed a referall to an orthopedic surgeon from my primary care psychian they sent me to insurance referral line and than insurance referral line said it was the wrong number I needed to get a referral from the psyshcian themselves so I am still waiting....................................................................................................................................................................................................... read more

I am usually pleasantly surprised by this place, but my health care demands are pretty low-key. The staff is friendly and competent and they make referrals easy on you. My only recommendation would be to allow plenty of time if you need lab work--in my experience, you will wait 45 mins to an hour, no matter the time of day. read more

The facilities for Pentucket Medical were nice and the wait wasn't too bad. The system for figuring out who you are after needs work, but overall not too bad. However, I was misdiagnosed during the visit from the doctor and given drugs that I could be allergic too. I even told them that what they told me I had was wrong (I've had lots of sinus infections in my life - I know when I have one). They shrugged it off and gave me the drugs anyway. I wouldn't go back for this reason. It's worth driving the extra 40 minutes to go see my regular doctor. read more

This place is a disaster and it makes me wonder why they're still around. Women that answers the main switchboard/phone (after at least 20 rings) is rude; she connected me to my doctor's office and the girl who answered that phone was even more rude! Called for referral and had to call a total of 4 times to obtain it and each time I was told something different. Went to see a NP for another issue and she prescribed an extremely potent dosage of two antibiotics (for something she wasn't even sure I had) which made me ill for entire weekend. Another debacle: was on my way there for a procedure and the office closed without bothering to inform the patients! Imagine? Don't bother calling the executive director, j sarro, nothing but a blowhard who will give you the typical salesman response. And we wonder why healthcare is such debacle. Pentucket Medical is ultimately "the worst" in Health Care ...I cannot begin to tell of my horror stories with this place....What is my choice, bounce around from PC to PC until a good one surfaces?? I believe I have a better shot with Megabucks. I called my PC today at 2:30 after being seen in the walk in center for 30 seconds several days ago; I was told a nurse would call me back.. NO RETURN CALL. Called again, was told the same thing. ...called yet a third time and was told to go down to the walk in center if I could not wait for a call back. My fault, I did not use my better judgement...instead of calling I should have just walk back in to the center today and pay another co-pay, perhaps then I would have been given another 30 seconds of attention It is now 5:50 and there isn't any way I will make it there...Thanks alot PMA. read more

I would not recommend going to Pentucket Medical. The doctors don't listen to symptom descriptions. They order and bill for unnecessary test to maximize profits. They wanted to have me wear a monitor for a week. The monitor was not working right and the technician could not figure out what the problem was so I left the office with out the monitor. I got a bill for $1000. When I called to dispute the bill I was told that if I was billed for it then it must be right. read more
