This place would be so much better if their parking was free. This was my first time seeing a library have a parking lot where each spot had its own pay machine. It could be because it's located downtown, but it's just strange for a public library. Maybe if they had security making sure people who park are actual patrons, they could make parking free. Another idea would be to have patrons come in and be given a token to put into the slot for an amount of time they plan to stay.
The library has three floors and plenty of room for everyone. I like that it's very roomy. The staff is friendly. Sometimes people do loiter around the entrance which is intimidating. Some homeless people hang out at the tables which is fine because there are enough tables for everyone, just an FYI. read more
