Such a cute salon! I have been getting my hair done by Kristen the owner for five years and she does an excellent job. She is friendly and professional, and knows her blonde color! This is a new salon for Kristen and I am so excited for her new business. There is a lot of natural light inside and the salon has a contemporary feel. The staff are welcoming and they have wine! My partner and I are constantly on the move, and finding a new hair stylist is such a major stressor each time, so I am forever grateful for finding Pepper shortly after our move to Livermore last year! Love this salon! I've been getting my hair done with Jessica Helget here for 6 years now! She's a pro and an artist. Always gives me great advice on color and style. She took me from dirty blonde balayage to platinum and back to beautiful baby lights while keeping my long hair strong and not dried out. I have nothing but great things to say about this place ! I've been twice now and enjoyed every minute of each visit. The hair stylist I got was Morgan and she did an amazing job! Started the appointment off with making sure she got a full run down of what I wanted achieved all of it which made me come back to her the second time! The owner Kristen came and checked on us a couple of times(because Morgan's still in training) and was so sweet and helpful ! I recently went here to get my hair done for the first time and was completely disappointed. Not in the shop itself but with the girl who did my hair. I showed her a picture of what i was looking for (of course knowing that everyones hair is different and wont look exactly like the picture) and she made it seem like she was capable of achieving it. I asked for an ash blond Ombre look and what she did was orange gold highlights (and barely any at that!) she informed me that after a few washed the color would "lighten" and after several washed it has not. It looks now even more brassy. She charged me 320 for something that is nothing even close to what i asked for. When i i formed her that i did not like my hair she was not sympathetic and even knowing it was a day before my birthday. Anyways, when asking her to fix it she told me a day/time in which i agreed to and she never confirmed the appointment. Basically did not care that she had an unhappy client. I went in giving the chick a chance only to waste my time and money. Im sure there are talented hairstylist here but do your research first. read more
