Manchester isn't short of an Italian restaurant, as far as they go Per Tutti is OK. It is very modern inside and the staff are very friendly. I checked out the menu and decided to order the poached egg and asparagus as a starter, which was very good! The egg yolk was runny and the asparagus was perfectly seasoned and cooked very well. My main course, the one I was most looking forward to, I was a little disappointed with. I ordered the lamb meatball tagliatelle and found the meatballs very dry and chewy. The sauce and the pasta were good, but the meatballs really let the dish down. I would recommend this place - as i found it excellent value for money. A modern and fresh environment although our table was quite close to a neighboring table of four loud larger than life ladies! Totally independent owned and operated by a husband and wife team for just over a year now. They clearly have got this right from a customers point of view. For starters we ordered a garlic tomato pizza bread and chorizo in red wine. Both very tasty when we actually ordered another chorizo, must say its the tastiest one I have ever had. For main I had corn fed chicken with fries salad and home made onion rings! The desert was nice but again from a limited choice of options which I wasn't bothered over either way tbh. All staff were friendly polite and had an apparent genuine approach. The guy who I thought was the manager was actually the owner, again friendly and customer focused. Most certainly would recommend this place! Tbh I was in debate as to 4 or 5 stars, decided on 4 purely on the table arrangement where I was sat and in my opinion of course, the limited choice menu for mains and deserts. On first glance at per tutti's menu I was put off by the dreaded words "sharing boards" and "small plates," the former being especially irritating as code for charging you a premium for putting cold cheese and ham on a plate and not bothering to you know, create something with ingredients. We tried the vegetarian board anyway, because it had some mushroom and truffle arancini on it that I wanted and also some mozzarella which I was craving. However the mozzarella was nothing like the quality you would get at Salvi's, or even from Tesco Finest (which is actually really good btw). All the other elements were distinctly underwhelming. The hummus was not good quality and it is mysterious that it was being served in an Italian restaurant in any case. Meanwhile the arancini were delicious, so just order those as a single plate! Main course wise we had some welcome decisive help from a lady I think was the manager (I noticed her actively monitoring what was going on throughout the evening which was impressive). I thought my main course (mushroom/truffle again, this time as a risotto which was more than decent and not too sickly, although it was more liquidy than I expected). The other two enjoyed the crab spaghetti and the surf and turf carbonara (yeah this place is really not mega authentic, it's more Italian American) - apparently the latter sells out every other main course 2 to 1. The sticky toffee pudding for dessert was absolutely delicious, a winner with everybody! Drinks wise they have prosecco on tap and also serve limoncello, two of my favourite drinks. There were a few delays during the evening, especially with drinks and then with the bill in the end (we had to ask more than once) but everyone serving was really nice and the general atmosphere was very pleasant. You can sit outside on a warm evening which is nice (albeit noisy, thanks to nearby Deansgate!) This is definitely somewhere I would give 3.5 stars to if I had the option, due to the starter board being lacklustre and some gaps in service. However my two friends really enjoyed it and said I should give it 4, so there you go! read more

I really like Per Tutti's menu, it has something for everyone and all Italian favorites are on there. I always think the atmosphere is really good in there, busy but not hectic and just off the hustle and bustle from deansgate, it's a little pocket of calm! I dined with 4 friends with the 50% offer, it was great that there were no restrictions to the choices meaning you could have a good quality steak for under a tenner or a super cheap meal out. Tomato garlic bread to start was really nice, nice base and for £3 there were no complaints. Big fan of the sides available, I really enjoyed the anchovies green beans. If you are after a chilled evening for good food with good value then you should deffo try this place out, especially with the 50% offer. read more

Per Tutti was rather disappointing. I think the thing that lets them down the most was their highly strange food menu -- particularly some very odd combos like prawns and steak in a carbonara, or the cod with curry sauce. We knew when we were going in that it wasn't authentic Italian -- more of a 'European fusion' -- but most of the menu seemed very unappealing. Off to a bad start when we were ignored and forgotten about on arrival. We were told to sit and wait whilst our table was getting ready. After 25 minutes, where plenty of other people arrived and were seated we asked for an update, and then were given a table. When walking through there were a few two-tops available! Highly annoying. And then throughout the meal the service was slow and disinterested. We had to ask more than once for pepper for instance (none on the table). I had the crab spaghetti which, whilst having spring onions(?) in it, was pretty tasty. My friend had the lobster ravioli which she couldn't finish as she didn't like it very much. The tomato pizza bread to start was probably the most enjoyable food we had. The wine list was meh too. Their Prosecco is rather sweet! Sadly, this isn't a place we plan on returning to. read more

This restaurant gets five stars from me! Per Tutti is at the top of Liverpool Road near the Hilton Hotel. There werelots of starters inc bread and olives to choose from. Of the main courses, there was not a big choice but there were several extra dishes on the specials board which compensated for the minimal menu and only a few deserts. For our starter we had garlic / tomato bread and a Chritoz sausage in red wine and bread which was so good we ordered a second chritoz sausage in red wine. My main course was steak frittas served with fries and salad, and for my sweet I had chocolate mouse with fresh whipped cream and raspberries and toasted almonds on top, all very tasty. read more

Having completed a review on (God Help ME) TripAdvisor - I decided to take a slightly different tilt for my Yelp friends so here it is... Arrived on a sodden Saturday lunchtime, two adults and our food hungry no.3. We picked this place not through TA or Yelp as neither had reviews - it was just there! So we dived in before becoming drenched by the Manchester moisture. The waiter's welcome was cool, surprising since there was only one table taken but we were seated happily and drinks arrived quickly. As soon as he realised we were foodies and not tire kickers the attitude changed! The waiter provided crayons and paper for our three year old which was greatly appreciated. The food was deliciously created a yard from our table so we know it was all freshly prepared. The seafood pasta was probably the best I have ever tasted, the aubergine parmaggiana was equally rated by my lady and no.3 REALLY enjoyed the sausage pizza and fries. There are a number of offers on at lunch such as two courses for about £8, kids eat free with a full-priced adult meal, etc. I'm surprised Per Tutti is not grabbing more attention but perhaps it's off-track locale is the issue. Keep up the good work guys and maybe look for a site further up Deans Gate because I think you would smash it up there! read more

Sunday Roast Opinion: went for the roast pork option. Wasn't disappointed. Easily my favourite Sunday Roast that I have had in Manchester. Superb presentation. Pork was moist and had cracking layer of.... Cracking. Roasties were crispy outside and fluffy inside. Yorkshire Pudding was quite salty, a bit too crispy for my liking. Carrots were excellent, like they were bathed in honey. Swede mash a welcome surprise and the bacon peas were gorgeous too. Given a 5 because of just how much I enjoyed the roast and the excellent service. read more

Popped in for a drink the other day after winning a bottle of prosecco on Twitter - follow them, they do it every week! I've wanted to go for a while, especially since their relaunch in August, when they were offering some ridiculously good deals. Unfortunately, they're not open on Sundays, so we never did get there! It's a very warm and welcoming atmosphere inside, and we were quick to be seen, even if they were a touch confused as to why we were there! The prosecco was presented beautifully, in chilled glasses and poured with one arm behind the back. 3 stars for now, but we will be going back to eat. read more

My partner and I went to Per Tutti (For everybody) on a Saturday as we have never tried the restaurant before. The CONS first... We ordered a pizza diavola and a risotto with mushrooms. Pizza was very hard, nearly impossible to cut. They used cheap tomato pure and cheese (not mozzarella). The diavola style (hot and spicy) is usually a Margherita base plus some fresh chilli/chilli pate. The 'Salame Milano" on top is a NO NO! Why? Because when salame is cooked it smells! I would expect a bit more from a nearly £10 pizza. They even asked me if I liked some fresh 'parmiggiano' cheese on top! Eh ?!?! Regarding the risotto, the rice was classified as 'al dente' which means 'a bit hard and not soft as usual'. Well as Italian I must admit it was not cooked properly. The mushrooms used where the ones from the can as very soft and watery. Coffee I worked many years as barman and I believe I know my stuff. I ordered a double espresso which was served using a single shot. My partner order an espresso macchiato which was even weaker than a single shot. Pro: The wine was nice: A great Montepulciano by glass. The service was a bit cold but the manager did his best so thumbs up for him. Final Thought: 1 pizza, 1 risotto, 1 double espresso, 1 espresso macchiato and 2 large glasses of Montepulciano = £37 ca. I believe the owner tried his best to cut the quality on the food in order to increase the margin of profit. The ingredients used for cooking were not fresh at all. To be honest I don't even think the owner is Italian judging on what I was eating!!! For the same amount we spent, I would prefer to go to Strada in Spinningfield where Pizza at least is much closer to the real Italian one. I won't go back there anymore. Sorry. read more

There was a really good deal going on where you get to choose two items for £10. I got the caprese salad and the salmon and they were both very good. Great portions for the price. I would definitely come back here if I'm in the area. The service was great - friendly and attentive and the decor was cute! read more

I wasn't overly impressed with the quality of food and service at Per Tutti. I booked online as they currently have a 50% off food deal in September. When we arrived we were asked to be seated, but didn't receive a particularly warm welcome from the waiter. Unfortunately through out the meal, bar one friendly girl, the waitresses seemed disinterested and difficult to flag down. My friend and I had the prawn, courgette and ?tuna pizza and a sausage, caramelised onion and ham pizza. The pizzas were very standard, I really wasn't keen on the sweet chilli sauce (in place of a tomato base) on the prawn pizza. The meat pizza lacked flavour, and there wasn't an even amount of sausage over the pizza. At the end of the meal we had to ask for the discount as this had not been applied. The 50% off food is an appealing offer, however unfortunately I really wouldn't be in a rush to come back here. read more

I went here during my lunch break the other week, we were promised the service would be fairly quick. There were around 7 others dining at the restaurant, sadly we waited 45 minutes for our meal and ended up having to Wolf it down and get our desserts to take out.. I have really struggled to find a good pizza in Manchester. One of my favourite italians in Manchester is San Carlo, which is very swanky and very expensive. All the celebrities and football players go there. I have been many times and usually for lunch where you can get a good pizza or pasta. I went last week for lunch and I was very disappointed. I had a pizza which was horrendous! Dry, not generous with the toppings and a terrible dough. The rest of my group had a mixture of pasta and pizza. All the pizzas were the same and the pasta was lovely but the size of the portion was comical! It was like a kids portion and the average pasta was £10. I'm not going back there again! I took a gamble yesterday and went to Per Tutti. I really wanted a good pizza and that;s exactly what I got! Great pizza dough, real pizza oven, lovely mozzarella and a great tomato base. I highly recommend it to all you pizza lovers. I had the Diavola which was awesome. To be honest it was a little on the spicy side compared to other pizza diavolas I have had elsewhere but it says spicy on the menu and that what it was. Looking at the the food that was going out to other customers it all looked and smelt good! I am definitely going back there! read more

Stopped here for lunch prior to heading into the museum across the way. I ordered the surf and turf carbonara pasta. The order came out reasonably quickly. Not sure how I felt about the presentation. While the pasta did have fully peeled shrimp inside, the restaurant did place a fully cooked non-shelled and de-headed shrimp on the top of everything. It could be that I'm lazy, but I had no desire to peel and eat it. Aside from that, the pasta tasted good and was well done. The steak on top was cooked just the right amount of rare for me. We were greeted by a friendly, helpful server on a Saturday morning. The interior is light and airy with 'Italian kitchen' touches and well-placed blackboards with specials. I had kedgeree, which was a bit watery but the poached egg was perfectly done. My husband had the sausage sandwich and was disappointed that it wasn't in doorstep slices, but the sausages were good. His request for English mustard was accommodated. The only gripe was that his filter coffee was on a free refill basis but my decaff coffee was not. I was impressed when our server, Jennifer, assured me that she would suggest that they add decaff filter option so that can be free too. Impressed with the positive attitude to feedback. read more
