That was the biggest reason I wanted to go there. The office staff was nice but the doctor was very dismissive to my concern. It almost felt like he was fighting to not roll his eyes at me. I cried when I drove home feeling again like due to my weight another doctor dismissed all my concerns. I mean I went there to get help to adjust my life style and improve my health. I had a follow up but canceled due to the service. I have to pay a good bit for my health care. I feel this means I should in turn receive bare min if not more service. Again if you want to go to them for the fact that their web page states weight loss clinic it is not true don't waste your time.

My husband and I have been patients of Dr. Kanaan and Ricky, Nurse Practitioner for the past four years and have received excellent care from the both of them. Unfortunately yesterday when I called asking for a change to an MRI order and prior authorization from one hospital to another do to cost for out of network providers, I was told no by Jessica that they would not do that for us since we had already requested one hospital and that our insurance would not allow the change. When I tried to explain to Jessica that this information was incorrect she immediately put me on hold and that's when Robin took over the phone call. In my conversation with Robin, I have never been spoken to so rudely and unprofessionally as the way she spoke to me and telling me they would not help me with any changes I needed. Robins statement about not willing to do the changes did not make sense to me since we had been told by Rickie the Nurse Practitioner to shop around if the copay was to high we maybe able to get a cash price for less. I did not think I was doing anything wrong when I called asking for the changes to be made. Also, when I asked for the copy of the MRI order and prior authorization she again told me no she would not send them to me and that this was in regards to their office protocol. I'm sad to say this was not the first bad experience we have had with the front office staff and Robin. They truly don't seem to care if they lose patient's.

Worst experience in a so-called medical office ever. Went in as a new patient and gave them my…read moreinsurance information and they set me up with a PA that was not covered under my plan. The PA requested a hormone panel I did not authorize, or request. And for the icing on the cake, I am on a Government program because of limited funds and was not given a heads up it would cost me almost $200 just in lab work which went well with the $90 charge for the office visit which would have cost only $45 if I was set up to see a Doctor. Oh and did I mention they made me come in a second time so they could read my labs to say all was fine, so there was another charge for an office visit. Office Manager said they would look into it but a month later is dodging my calls. I should have read the reviews before going to this kangaroo court.

They have ABSOLUTELY NO MEDICAL TRAINING. I did inform Dr. Kanaan of the issue and he agreed they are not medically trained and should not be denying anyone the ability to discuss concerns with the nurse. The nurse is equipped to determine if it needs a call back. Dr. Kanaan said he would resolve the issue. I worked in a hospital and know hippa laws. I can talk to the nurse to give them info.. they cannot give me info. That doesn't mean it's not worthy of the nurses. My mom is in her 80's and progressively getting worse and is canceling every doctor's appointment she has. It borders on medical malpractice if I can't even get a message to his nurse to give them information to help with my mom's treatment. In the event of medical emergency they would claim "plausible deniability" to avoid being responsible for medical neglect. So I'm posting this review should my mom suffer unnecessarily due to the practices of the office staff who are not qualified to determine what's medically necessity to pass on to qualified medical staff.

They have so many people involved in the visit then use to be.As far as prescriptions that were samples you need to take that up with the insurance company.
