I cannot possibly express my gratitude to Ryan from perfect memory events for his professionalism and quick thinking on our wedding day. The day of our wedding was intensely hot. The AC in our venue could not keep up. Ryan had planned to set up indoors for our reception, which he did. When he realized that most of our guests had retreated outside in the evening to avoid the heat he set up speakers outdoors and kept the party atmosphere going in less than ideal circumstances. He did an excellent job of amplifying our ceremony as well. With Ryan you don't have to worry about the cheesy DJ stereotype. Instead of dominating the event as some DJs do, he got everyone's attention when we needed and took a background role when appropriate. We had some complicated music cues and obscure music choices and he nailed every one of them. Ryan's expertise is not limited to the DJ role, he is truly a wedding expert. We had a very pleasant time planning with him. He gave us solid advice throughout the process and could not have been more friendly and understanding. Ryan is obviously passionate about what he does, and what he did was make our wedding that much more special. Ryan was WONDERFUL. He is so full of joy, so professional, and his music was SPOT ON the entire evening. He needed little direction, which was PERFECT for us, because we are NOT huge music buffs. We had no idea where to direct him or what songs would be crowd pleasers, but throughout the reception we received NUMEROUS compliments on the music! He did phenomenal. He didn't spend the entire evening in his booth either. He was helping get things ready for the cake cutting, he did great with the transitions and helping people figure out what was happening when, and was really courteous as his time for the event came to a close. He offered to stay longer if we wanted, was mingling with guests, and was SO SO SO entertaining!! He didn't steal the show, he didn't make it about him, and he was so FULL of gratitude to be a part of our day. From our first meeting with him, we knew we could trust the ENTIRE evening to him. He was communicative through the process, and made us feel at ease with the schedule. I have NO idea how people play music from an iPod and just let it go. He was mixing up songs and themes and people wouldn't get off the dance floor! It was a HUGE hit!! We would recommend him to ANYONE!! I had planned on doing my own music from an I-pod, and a few weeks before the wedding, my computer crashed. I thought everything was going to crash and burn, and then I found Ryan. Ryan SAVED OUR WEDDING. Honestly. I felt SO relieved to have found him from the very first time we spoke. Even though it was last minute, Ryan made sure to be available and lifted a HUGE weight off our shoulders. He is so organized, and so experienced, he makes it so very easy to choose all of your songs and keep things in line. He went out of his way to find all the songs we wanted, and even helped me make song changes the day of! Ryan was the first one at the site, and probably the last to leave. He was the one telling everyone when to walk down the isle, and to tell us when it was time for speeches, dances and cake cutting. I can't imagine what a disaster our special day could have been if it wasn't for Ryan. He made us feel so special and important even after the wedding. Ryan is one of the very best things to happen to our wedding! His many stellar reviews are what led us to meet with him, he was the only DJ we met with and we knew right away we did not need to look any further. Throughout the process Ryan was just amazing. Ryan was awesome to work with! He helped in so many ways besides just music and lighting. He was great with helping coordinate things on the day of. Little things that might slip your mind due to the craziness of the day, Ryan was there to make sure it was taken care of. He went above and beyond his role. His music choices were also great. Ryan was exceptional! We knew he would do a good job the minute we met him. However, he performed better than we could have ever dreamed of. Multiple people came up to us after the wedding commenting on the great music and dancing. The times he approached us during the night, he was very calm and added not a single ounce of stress. Ryan's rates are more than fair for the quality of service that he provides. In fact he was much cheaper than lower rated DJ's when I shopped around.
