I used Flower Station to send my partner flowers on our anniversary. I ordered the bouquet online,…read moreand found that there was a nice range of styles and prices. The website was a bit glitchy and the pricing is opaque (sometimes there's an extra service fee on top of the bouquet price, sometimes not), but overall not too frustratingly. I found a bouquet I liked and I was able to schedule the delivery for a date later in the week, and specified that I wanted it delivered in the afternoon. Though I got an email at 10:30am day-of saying they would be delivered shortly, they thankfully didn't actually arrive until 12:20pm, just inside the delivery window I gave. The bouquet's description noted that substitutions and alteration requests could be made, so I asked to replace the pink roses for orange/red ones, which were used in other available bouquets, including a bouquet that was entirely brandywine roses. I wasn't contacted about the request, so I assumed it the substitution wasn't a problem. The delivered bouquet had multiple other substitutions, but the one request wasn't honored. The Flower Station website noted that they sometimes need to make substitutions based on availability, and that they "always aim to notify our customers of such a change." Since I have both an email address and a local phone number, and placed my order several days in advance, I expected to be contacted if there would be any substitutions, or if my request couldn't be honored. When I contacted customer service, they merely said that their substitution was appropriate, and there was nothing they could do. I previously also contacted Flower Station's customer service via email with a question about one of the new tulip bouquets, where it was unclear whether a vase was included. I never received a reply. Note that the product reviews on their own website are filtered: only 4 and 5 star reviews are posted. I posted a neutral 3-star review of "Wild At Heart" and it was removed. I wanted to love Flower Station, because it seemed like a convenient way to send bouquets to my loved ones in England. I'll stick to more trustworthy florists.
