The lady kept trying to steer me in a different direction and seemed very off putting when I kept mentioning WIOA--like it's something they don't do for everyone even though it's a government funded program. When I asked when I would be assigned a case manager she said, "IF you're invited to orientation you'll get one then. In the meantime, take a look at our job board and see what you can find." The same day I went to the West LA Center and found that they have WIOA orientations 3 times a week and it's open to the public. If you need funding for certifications and trainings just go to West LA.

Sadly, my android does not save Google Dropbox passwords. My advice... Have your passwords handy if you are trying to upload from a Samsung Galaxy Note android phone. Unfortunately, because i am always updating my passwords for security purposes, I haven't been able to memorized them. I needed to take a typing test for a job opportunity and found this place close to home. I called ahead to check if I needed an appointment but they said I could go in whenever I wanted. I walked in and the young lady at the front was very polite and helpful. I was taken back to a large room full of computers. Another employee set up a practice test and then after I was then set up my actual test. I noticed 2 other people working on resumes and applications and received help and input. After taking the test I just had to wait a few minutes to get my results printed and signed.
