The overall store is small but there are shelves and counters with various make-up displays. The store is clean. There were a few testers here and there and a place to have your make-up done (I think anyway. I didn't see any advertising for services.) I like to browse at a turtle pace, swatch colors, and see what combinations look the best so I felt just a little awkward being watched by the store employee without reassurance. Maybe she was waiting to see if I needed anything because as soon as I piped up she was ready. As their door sign had stated, there was in fact a small section with deeply discounted inventory (a lot of Smashbox products). The sale selection was a bit limited in colors. A little handmade sign stated not to open the boxes. Since there was no tester available the sales associate helped me out and opened a box I was interested in so I could eye the actual color, which was great because I ended up buying it! She also let me use a make-up brush on hand to test a product too. I ended up walking out with a couple items from the sales area. Mineral make-up isn't my go to but I'll definitely pop back in again to see what sale they may have going on. You can get a rewards card here too. Get a stamp every time you spend x amount and eventually receive a discount. They also offer a military discount on regular priced items.

The last time I was there, I was the only customer in the store, yet I was rushed out as if the saleswoman had something better to do. In fact, she helped me pick out the two items I'd come in for specifically, and then hurried over to the register and stood there. I actually had to tell her I wasn't finished shopping yet! She did point out a selection of clearance items, and briefly removed the shadows from the boxes so that I could see them, but then hurriedly returned them to the boxes so there was no way to compare shades. Another issue I have is that some of the saleswomen will try cosmetics on their arm to show you what the color looks like. Unless I have the same skin color, how can I know how the product is going to look on me? Their return policy is terrible.They will not give a refund for any open packages. So two of the shadows I purchased, which are irritating my lids (I think because they are shimmery when I have always previously purchased matte in this line) are not refundable. They did let me exchange a foundation color once, but made it very clear they were unhappy to do so. Although I prefer to buy cosmetics in person, rather than online, 100% Pure and Ecco Bella provide high quality, all natural and cruelty-free cosmetics and will happily take anything back for any reason. In fact, I believe from their site that JaneIredale.com has a more liberal return/refund policy. I doubt I'll be purchasing anything from this store again.

When we arrived, I was looking around at candles with my nephew (he's been taught numerous times to not touch and he does not touch anything) and there was another little girl with her mom. Everything was going good, my nephew was smelling candles (as I opened them and held them for him) and we were approached 6 different times and honestly it felt like we were being watched every second while the mom and her daughter were left alone even though the daughter 1) broke a candle 2) dropped the display 3) almost dropped the soap stack. I tried to ignore it but it was ridiculous. We stopped looking around and checked out because we were so annoyed. When checking out, my girlfriend was confronted 3 times and was asked to look in her purse even though we were holding our one item (a candle). I was so fed up I asked to speak to a manager. When I spoke to him I asked him what his problem was with my nephew and my gf. We were the only ones constantly stopped and questioned. I asked him if it was because my nephew was a little boy (since you know boys are known to be hyper even though he was behaved and didn't touch anything) or it's because my gf was black (we were the only ones stopped and asked to open a purse). We planned on buying way more items for gifts but instead we only left with one candle because my nephew loved it so much (he loved candles, it's a weird/random love of his lol) The manager just stood there shocked (as I was very annoyed) and said the reason we were stopped so much is because we weren't holding a bath and body works shopping bag and I proceeded to let him know we didn't get one because we only had one item after we were treated differently. If we had kept shopping, we would have gotten a bag to hold the stuff in. He kept giving me a run around but it was very clear, we were being treated differently and another customer even pointed it out to the manager as we were speaking to him. She told him that my nephew was extremely behaved and that we weren't doing anything wrong and were treated unfairly. We will definitely not be returning to this location.

When I returned, I was scheduled with a different injector which I was not happy about. I'm told there was no remaining half product left and no record of that agreement or from Jennifer. She spoke with Jennifer (who wasn't in the office), and then told me Jennifer denied any remaining product was left and denied the conversation due to the whole product was used. After speaking with her manager, I was told "there's nothing we can do" and that I'd hear from Jennifer the following Monday. I was not about to argue with the injector that was not there present during our discussion. It's now been a couple of days--no call, no follow-up from Jennifer, or her manager. This level of disregard is unacceptable, especially considering the cost of service and the expectation of professional service. I felt dismissed, misled, and ignored as a customer. Leads me to believe they are using the product for themselves and scammed me. I will not be returning to Azul Medspa and cannot recommend their services to anyone looking for consistent, honest, or customer-centered care.

With that said, trying to schedule A Covid test is like trying to get a last minute hair appointment on New Years Eve- it ain't happening! I finally found a few appointments available at this location, so I booked on line. The process was great- they send you an email with the confirmation and instructions. When you drive into the parking lot, the instructions state to follow the signs and not to enter the store (makes sense!); there was visible signage that directed you to the drive up window. When it is your turn, you show your id and confirmation email, they check their records and confirm your identity. They tell you how to self administer the nasal swab and pass the test kit to you in a container they place in the telescoping window- all the while they clean and disinfect the window, the box and the entire area in you view. After swabbing your nose according to the instructions provided, you place the applicator inside a vial with liquid and screw the cap on, place it in the ziplock baggie and back into the tray and the the window. You get your test results via email anywhere within three days; this was not the rapid test but they so administer both here. I was impressed that with everything they have to do for these tests, my schedules apply was only late by five minutes or so- this is pretty good!

This has happened with multiple family members multiple times. Once with an infection that required antibiotics and another that was antivirals. These are medications you should not be waiting days for. These need to be started immediately! When it's finally available it takes forever to pick up because the lines outside and inside are terribly long. Usually only 1 person at the checkout handling a long line of people. CVS in El Paso is much better and faster always.
