One of the best Christmas shoppes that I have seen in a long time! There is something for everyone of all ages! Beautiful, quality items in abundance. Beautifully decorated and well-maintained! The store owner was such a nice lady and very helpful in answering questions. She opened this shop in memory of her mother who loved Christmas time and made sure her daughter enjoyed it also. You will find something for sure in this shoppe. Things that I didn't even think of were in here. I tried to capture them in my photos. I bought several items. My husband and I were visiting St Augustine and ended up going to Perky Pelican Christmas Shoppe. I am a Christmas girly and like to collect an ornament from each city we come to visit, seeing a whole shop dedicated to Christmas in February was a great treat! When we walked in we were greeted right away and it was just really welcoming, there are so many ornaments to choose from but I ended up finding one that had beach sand and seashells and the city name. I didn't think the pricing for this ornament was too expensive, it was really nicely crafted too. Can't review well. Christmas scents overpowered us when we walked in. Only managed 2 minutes before we had to walk out. However, it was obvious Christmas had thrown up all over the store and people seemed happy inside. read more

This is a wonderful Christmas Shoppe I all of Florida! They are inside of an old home on the main drag of St. Augustine. Their are four comfy white rocking chairs on the front porch. There is two huge Nutcrackers beside the chairs. The Lady Owner came out and took a picture for Ernie and I. The ornaments and all of the most wonderful gifts are all around in the different rooms that you walk through. This is not the place for a small child. This is such a lovely Christmas shop. The first impression of this shop are the beautiful Christmas decorations and the rocking chairs in the outside of this house. So pretty and classic. Once you come in you are adorned by every type of Xmas decoration imaginable. Ornaments are on the left side, keep walking back and you will see more beautiful Christmas decorations. Once you walk around the house you will be so full of Xmas spirit. Love this cute shop and happy I was able to visit it for the first time. Don't forget your picture in front of the house. The Perky Pelican Christmas Shoppe is quite literally the physical embodiment of this wonderful quote from the beloved classic Miracle on 34th Street. I visited this shop on my 21st birthday, and upon entry, I felt like a 7 year old. I mean that in the best way possible. This place is magical. Offering a wide array of Christmas collectibles, such as decorations, ornaments, snow globes, and villages, this shop has it all. Everything was reasonably priced too! I collect snow globes and purchased a Snoopy snow globe from here. I love it! I'm now convinced Santa vacations in St. Augustine, Florida, and lives at this shop. Whenever we're in the St. Augustine area, we make sure to visit this store. This little 2 story house is loaded with Christmas decor year round. Most recently, we purchased a set of 4 Christmas carolers. These can be very hard to find, especially nice ones. The staff are very friendly. Had a lot of fun poking into all the nooks and crannies of this beautiful old house, turned Christmas shop. The shop is located on San Marco Ave, just a short distance north of the historic district. I was recently in St Augustine for vacation. I was exceedingly excited to find this Christmas shop just down the road from my hotel. As an avid collector of Christmas ornaments I had to stop in to see what they might have available. I was blown away by the volume of merchandise...but especially by the hand crafted items. Furthermore, the cost for these hand crafted ornaments was so reasonable I believe I bought one of every single version available! The owner has client services down to an art. The employees are very friendly and helpful. If they don't have what I'm looking for they can usually order it. Sometimes I just stop in and just say hi. Other times I splurge and by several items. I was in heaven here!! It's amazing. They have so many unique ornaments for sale. Walking through this store really makes you feel like you're in a Winter Wonderland.
