They kept skipping over my order. people who came AFTER me got their food FIRST. I don't usually get irritated and upset with people in food industries but I had 2 kids with me that were getting fussy. I was pissed. Then of course food was cold Then after 2 hours of waiting for food and eating it, we went to the aquarium and it was closed. At 3 pm. We didn't even get a chance to do anything else because no animals were out and we were frustrated. I want my money back. I'm so irritated with this zoo's quality the last few years. When I walked into McGivern, I was immediately greeted and treated so kindly. Staff went the extra mile to help me and explain the timing, cost and options. My resizing and appraisals were completed in about 7 days which I thought was remarkable. My next trip in, I decided to resize a bracelet and reset a ring. Mike personally helped me and was incredibly helpful. Once my jewelry updates were complete- within the stated timeframe, by the way- I picked them up and I was absolutely floored at how beautifully they turned out. For where they are located (it used to be a Carter Lumberyard) I was expecting more of a selection of items. And quite honestly, their prices were kind of high! I looked at a table that was clearly preloved (it had scratches and some other minor cosmetic damages) and they had it priced for $99! I literally did a double take hoping I misread it but it was really priced for 100 bones. Um, no thanks. Overall the selection was nil and the overall appearance of the store was run down. They could make the place a little more inviting instead of having it look as unappealing as it is in its current state. I know resale shops are hit and miss for finds but with the little bit of items I saw for I'm surprised they were as packed as they were.
