I walked in looking for a Castello di Gabbiano Piemonte Moscato -- preferably an '08. After nosing around their beautifully appointed oak shelves and bins I found it, and right alongside several other, difficult-to-find Moscatos. There's even a section dedicated to the wines of Georgia (the region in the South Caucasus -- not the state) and a remarkably good selection of German whites. The friendly owners love wine and they're in the process of establishing an upmarket Italian food and wine store in nearby Frenchtown. This is worth the trip.

The store is a nice size and well stocked. I was greeted immediately by a friendly and knowledgeable employee. They knew where everything was located and the price. The prices are reasonable.
