Really, I doubt that once one become a parent, there is any opportunity to forget the generic name that all parents across the planet are called by their (english speaking) offspring. In addition, who buys those items of jewellery? Anyway, I went in to try and find a jigsaw puzzle for a 2 year old, but more fool me. I know now I should have gone to Toy R Us, or the Early Learning Centre, because Argos was utterly useless. Not only did they offer the worse selection of puzzles in the history of puzzles, they are more than likely going to be all sold out. Yes, I am fully aware we are on the home straight to Christmas, but isn't that the point of this season? That shops stock up? Otherwise what is the point? And honestly, how many parentally instructive ring wearing individuals, really purchase jigsaw puzzle? My sentiments exactly!

Sometimes it's worth grabbing your lunch and coming to sit in here and watch it all unfold. Especiallly near Christmas. The typical clientele this Argos attracts don't pull their punches and neither do the staff. Some G-Star buying his little son's birthday present thinks he's waited too long at the collection point? Well he's going to let everyone know, and loudly. Lady working the check-out point is having a bad day? You're going to feel the brunt of it, or if you're very lucky, she might just completely ignore you. The occasional plus side? The staff know that the key to their happy lives is getting people in and out in record times - this can make for the fastest Argos experience in England. Fact. I was in and out of here with a microwave, kettle and toaster within 4 minutes. That's impressive.

Great store but terrible return policy…read more Basically Zero return policy unless you plan on returning to this terminal Basically don't dare buy a gift unless you are 100% certain, as this is at least $250 and easily a $500 gamble. I am totally disgusted with the staff in this store who do not know nothing about customer service…read more They do not even know their own policies regarding refunds and lie regarding issues when they need to do a bit of work. Ask Jordan their manager there - full of lies on Sunday when she says that their head office is closed. In fact it is open 7 days a week! I have raised a formal complaint now and will be taking this issue to both trading standards and the Consumer Ombudsman as they have are totally stupid in resolving issues. Even their head office is full of non English speaking staff who do not understand anything plus even when you write to their customer service team they cannot address an issue. I will never use Matalan again.
