But, and there is a but. The food quantity for the price is way too little for way too much. $16 for a plate of rice and eggs and 3 pieces of longaniza. That's too expensive for how much you get imo. If I had at least 2 more pieces of longaniza I'd maybe accept that price but damn. I mean business is business but the price for the food quantity could be better. Service is acceptable. We got our order he gave us the order. We paid with card and I'm pretty sure we got a credit card fee he didn't mention but I let it slide. Ambiance. The place looks like someone's living room and a kitchen inside. You can't eat in there and imo the place has a lot of fire hazards. Not a place you can eat in comfortably and it's more of a take out place. What to expect when you go here. Decent food that's overpriced with acceptable service and you cannot eat in since they haven't done much to clean the place. My advice, just order out and if you don't care about crazy delivery fees from your favorite take out app, then you won't care about the price you pay for the food you get.

What is interesting about their menu is that they have something from the major regions of Ecuador, except for the bread. They have multiple kinds of pastries but no bread at the time we were there. The service was very good too. The only thing I will note is to stay alert on the bill regarding the gratuity if you are going to pay with a card. They just opened up about 3 months ago so they may still be working out the kinks of their system. We were accidentally charged for gratuity as we were looking to tip cash. I got the $15.50 typical plate with grilled beef. It was good, but i think they forgot to give me the maduros. Their $5-6 avena (oatmeal drink) is pre-made and is on a 75% sweetness level. Empanadas are on smaller end and pretty oily, but still solid general spot to get some Latin bites if you are around and craving it. Servers are nice and locals come all day since it is about 15 minutes walk from Harrison Path train station.
