We absolutely love Pet Food Express. This has easily become our go-to pet store, mostly because the staff is genuinely amazing. Every time we bring our puppy Munkie in, they remember her and get so excited to see her. It feels way more personal and welcoming than your average pet store. The team is always incredibly helpful, knowledgeable, and patient whenever we have questions about food, treats, sizing, or products. You can tell they actually care about animals and aren't just trying to sell you things. As a picky Italian Greyhound owner, I really appreciate how helpful they've been with recommendations over time. The store is always clean, well stocked, and super easy to shop. We always end up staying longer than planned because everyone is so friendly and Munkie loves all the attention she gets here. Luxury for pets. I stumbled on Pet Food Express today while visiting their neighboring Sprouts. Two errands in one stop? Count me in. I was able to snag Sheila's kibble, as well as a few new-to-me items. Pet Food Express is stocked with all types of dog and cat food, including hard kibble, freeze dried, canned items, and treats. They also had a number of unique toys for your furry bestie. Vinny was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful as I browsed for the necessities. He even hooked it up with a few sample items for Sheila to try! You can definitely tell that their employees are true animal people. I'd return for Vinny's expertise alone. Beyond their merchandise, I was impressed by their self-wash station. You can pay $18 for 25 minutes, or buy three trips and get one free. This washing station is equipped with shampoo, conditioner, and all materials you'll need for a quality dog wash. Sheila is already obsessed with her beef lung filets, so I have no choice but to return! read more

I walked into Pet Food Express expecting to feel overwhelmed and possibly just walking out with dog treats. Instead I walked out with 2 huge bags of kibble, a few toys, lots of treats and renewed belief in humanity. The second I entered I was treated like a long-lost Disney princess--except instead of woodland creatures, it was Nick with the warmest smile and a treat in his hand for my pup. The aisles? Immaculate. I swear I heard angelic harp music as I turned the corner into the cat section. My Frenchie, Canelo, now refuses to accept treats from anywhere else. He literally gave me side-eye when I brought home biscuits from another store. Brenda the assistant manager even slipped in another treat "just because." Excuse me?? Who does that anymore? I half expected them to carry me out on a throne made of kibble. Brenda gave me so much useful information that because of her I'm always going back. First and foremost, the staff has always been kind and helpful in getting my two felines' canned food supply. In addition, the selection of canned food allows the fur balls to have a variety of tastes. Given my female decided a couple of months ago she doesn't like the tuna/duck combo, the fact the staff suggested I return any unused cans of same and trade them out for something else. Finally, the convenience of the store's location makes it very easy to stop in and pick up a month's + supply. Online ordering is easy and has always been ready to pick up when I come in. I haven't used their delivery offer, but if it is as well managed as the rest of the store, I have no doubt it is also very good. read more

Today was our second visit to Pet Food Express. This is really close to our home and right next to Sprouts. Great location. A couple of weeks ago we went in to see what the store was like as it's pretty new. Very nice and clean. But what a variety of foods, snacks, vitamins, etc. Things you never see at a Petco or PetSmart. We feed our dog only duck as a protein as she has food allergies and the vet said not to mix multiple meats. Of course the one she tolerates the best is duck. Not exactly the low cost volume meat you would love to buy. Oh well. Our dog is very special to us like everyone's dog is to them. So we've tried to find duck meats and treats but found the options were very limited. Guess what? At Pet Food Express they have tons of duck snacks, and dry and refrigerated duck foods. We were in duck food heaven. The last time we were here we bought a wide variety of duck snacks and went back now to buy more of the ones our dog loved. I hope more people try out Pet Food Express. We see this store as our go to pet store. Also, both times we were there the dog wash was very active. They have large washing areas. It looked like the patrons had no problem and were enjoying the process. Even the dogs we saw were smiling. The employees were super helpful. I went in today to try a new dog food after my Goldendoodle was experiencing some GI troubles. I was met with the utmost helpful and friendly staff. I specifically want to give a big shout out to Chris who guided me through all the different food options and even allowed us to sample some brands to gain the full experience. Chris was absolutely amazing. I could not recommend this store more for all your pet needs! I even found out today that they have a scale for owners to weigh their pups! So cool! Love this store for my dogs' favorite raw food and treats. They devour Tucker's raw frozen food, but it has been continually marked up at other local stores, to a price point that just doesn't work for 2 large dogs. I was prepared to start testing other brands until I found that Pet Food Express carries Tucker's. They also sell extra long elk and deer jerky sticks that my dogs love, which I've previously only found on the east coast. The staff are incredibly friendly (shout out to the worker who always discusses perfume with me ). We haven't tried the dog wash station, but have plans to soon after a beach day. Robert and Sandra were very helpful today with our choosing a new food for her pups. They have been eating primal freeze dried food. We could tell they were not very happy with it. Sometimes they wouldn't even eat it threw out quite a bit of it. Went in and asked for something more organic. He explained the differences between the foods and we decided to get raw food called small batch. We just fed our dogs with no problems at all. I got a random coupon about a grand opening when i was at the park a few weeks ago, so I decided to stop by after the dog beach. I figured i would support the effort of the manager passing out flyers and stop in to get some treats for my sweet boy. Holy smokes, did i not know what I was in for. I was so excited to see that the same gal that gave me the coupon was working that day and i ended up getting a full crash-course education about nutrition. Turns out i have been disrespecting my boy with garbage food. I came in for a bag of treats and left with treats, a toy, a bag of new food (to transition i learned), and a new outlook on life. Today was the pivotal moment in diet & nutrition that is giving me the opportunity to keep Duke in my life a lot longer. I look forward to adding raw food into the mix soon too!
