I Just received a reply from this business, over a year later. "by showing up inadvertedly and without appointment you not only scared the dog but interrupted my job. The dog tried to jump from the table and I had to act quickly and grab the dog mid air instead of letting her drop to the floor. Your action could have cause an accident. if you were polite, you would have called in advance or could have made yourself noticeable instead of sneaking in and walking away disrespectfully." 1st, how can you remember this occasion over a year later? 2nd, if I snuck in, then how did the dog know I was there if I didn't make myself known? 3rd, Do you know me? Amazing! I've Been taking my baby Perseus here for a couple years.. This time when I took him he had a bad hair cut.. my husband chopped his hair off and gave my baby a goatee ‍. On a Sunday afternoon looking for last min shower/summer cut style for my border collie. Found this place on yelp located in Lawndale near 405 fwy and they only charged me $50 while other places are asking for over $70 which I think its ridiculous. So I gave this place a shot and I was really satisfied with their service. They were fully booked but was able to squeeze me in and made my 1st experience pretty pleasant. Victor is such a nice guy! He has been the groomer for my two dogs for a couple of years now and always meets my expectations. He is very kind and always takes care of his customers. I took my dog here a couple of times and I didn't think much of it. After the third time my dog started to become very anxious here and wanted to leave immediately. After talking with others that took there dogs here they had similar experiences. My dog normally is not like this at places. I'm pretty sure there staff is abusive and is not honest about it. I'm very disappointed with this place. Not only that but they raised there prices since then. I took my maltipoo and my long hair cat, they did a pretty good job on my maltipoo but completely butchered my cat!! I asked for the lion cut and they were fine with it! They clearly didn't know anything about grooming a cat! They shaved her completely and unevenly!! But the worst part was that they CUT HER WISKERS!!! Any good groomer knows that cats use they're wiskers to navigate! They also trimmed the tip of hr tail, which threw her balance off! Truly disappointed! Called this place since its local to my house and was quoted cheap so I decided to give it a try. I pull up today and the door was open but the sign said closed. I walked in anyways. Dingy dirty place with a whole bunch of signs that say cash only, apts only no walk ins etc etc. I look over the counter to the back cause no one was there to greet me and I see a man grooming a brown poodle looking dog. The dog is not in any harness and is trying to get away. The dog kinda falls off the table and he picks her up by the leg and puts her back on the table. He then turn and and saw me, which then I took my dog and left. No way was i gonna try this place now. Fyi peeps. read more

They did a great job with my dog Teddy Bear! Took him in today, 10 AM. Picked him up at 2 PM. So nice that I don't have to leave him all day like at Petco or PetSmart. Went to pick him up, hair was cut beautifully and he was sitting in his little bed waiting for daddy. Reasonable price! And my dog can be aggressive when trimming his face area, they did an amazing job despite my naughty dog. Love this place, will be a regular moving forward! read more

I had high hopes for this place, it was my dogs first time at the groomers since I was always afraid of her hair getting butchered. I have always taken great care of her and am really skeptical of cutting her hair since she has so much of it. The man I spoke to was super friendly and fit me in at 11:30, I dropped off my dog and asked that she get trimmed and that she receive a breed appropriate haircut (she's a Pomeranian). I asked about how long it usually takes and the young lady told me 2-3 hours. I finally called at 3 since I had not heard from them, the person that answered told me that she was ready they were just waiting for her to air dry, which I thought was strange. When I went to pick up my dog I was a bit upset since she looked exactly the way she did when I took her just that her paws had been trimmed. They told me that they cut her nails but I knew that wasn't true because I had just cut her nails a week prior and her nails had dirt in them. The man who returned my dog even questioned the girl who received my dog about what I had wanted. I was willing to just drop it since its hair and it will grow back. I went home and was disappointed watching my dog walk around with all her uneven hair. Then I received a text two hours later informing me that my dog was ready for pickup and that It would be $30 funny because they charged me $20. Long story short I was upset and responded that I had my dog already with all her uneven hair and they called me infantile. I'm sorry but yes I am upset, I trusted them with my fur baby and the poor work they did is a reflection of the type of poor business they run. read more

I will never ever take my dog back here . I had a 10o clock appointment Saturday , September 10,2016 and I got there 5 minutes early and no one was there . I waited until the time my appointment arrived ( 10oclock) and no one came . after waiting 10 minutes later (10:10) someone then arrived . As the owner walks up we tell him we have a 10:00 appointment and he says " Oh you do ? " As if he didn't even know . So we walk in and they already had dogs inside that had been there over night . I'm not sure if this is a grooming place or a dog hotel . Before I handed my 4 month old teacup yorkie to him I explained that I wanted her to have a teddy bear face and only to cut A LITTLE of her hair down . A puppy trim because she is a BABY! I wasn't too sure of leaving her but I did because she needed a bath . When we came back I just wanted to cry. ALL OF HER HAIR WAS GONE! I said a puppy trim NOT A BALD RAT TRIM. I should have just went with my first mind and took her to petco but I wanted to give him a try . Never again . I would not recommend this place to anyone because they won't do what you ask . It's so simple . Before I left i asked him if he knew what he was doing and he said " I've been doing this for a long time " , well unfortunately it looks like you just started . First off the only reason I even chose this place was because I saw they had good reviews. And was the only place available. I also called last minute and specifically asked if they had any room to fit in my dog because she needed a bath and a cut. The guy said yes to bring her in a hour. Once I got there I explained what I wanted done. How I wanted my dogs hair. I told the guy she needs a bath, hair cut, and her nails cut. I wanted her hair evened out. So basically short from the body because her hair was uneven. And I didn't want the face too short just fixed up a little because she couldn't see anymore. Once I got her back he asked if it was okay. I was like yes but once I got home I was like wth she still smells. She smells, like if they never took her a bath, and just sprayed her down with something. And her hair was all messed up. It's uneven in the face one side is longer than the other. Her bangs look stupid I could've just took some scissors and done it myself. Her arms still have long hairs. I will not becoming back to this place. They could've easily told me over the phone they couldn't take her in. Now my dog looks like crap. Now I can't wait for her hair to get long to take her to another place like groomingdales it's a little more expensive but at least they won't mess up your dogs hair. But I guess you can say you get what you pay for ($35 dollars) read more

I don't know what every giving it 1 star is talking about. Every time I take my French bulldog he comes back looking nice and smells great. Sometimes they even put a little bandana on him just for fun. The guy that is usually at the front desk is real nice too. We always end up talking for a good minute before I drop off my dog. Another plus is that they don't take a long time. They call you as soon as your dog is ready. I usually drop my dog off, go shop, or eat then my dog is usually ready. I've recommended this place to see real people and haven't heard any bad feedback; that's why I was surprised by the 1stars read more

The overall cleanliness of this facility is severely lacking. Cobwebs on the ceilings, dirt all over the floors and caked on in corners. Looks like an abandoned pet store that still functions. I also was not pleased with the time they quoted me. I dropped off my dog at 2:00, and was told he'd be ready by 5:00 because that's when they close. I called at 5:05 and they said he was almost ready, about 10 minutes more. We got there at 5:18 and he still was not done. Face and ears were not finished being trimmed, so we waited another 20 minutes for them to finish, which gave me some time to really inspect the conditions the dogs are being kept in. It was just really unclean. Three stars because his grooming was decent enough. They did cut his fur down to the skin in a few places, but he was pretty matted, so I understand why Prices were decent and they were nice enough, but I won't bring him back here due to the 3 hour + time frame and overall lack of cleanliness read more
