Dr. Hidalgo seems reasonably competent as a veterinarian, and it's convenient that she speaks English. My dog liked getting lots of treats and was comfortable in the space. However, the office staff is sloppy and unresponsive.
I tried to schedule a surgery for over three months, asking for a price quote and date - simple, basic information. Most of my emails went ignored, and in the end, the surgery went unscheduled.
They botched our travel documentation not once but TWICE, both times printed out crookedly with misspellings, lowercase lettering and random punctuation. The first time, the year of rabies expiration was cut off. I noticed this before traveling and had to return to get it reprinted, as this is the most essential part of the document. Unbelievably, they reprinted it with the wrong year of expiration! According to their document it expired on the same day that it was administered. Luckily we weren't detained at the airport, but in trying to get the dog licensed, it was necessary to contact the PetPoint office to verify that the rabies vaccine (given just two months earlier) was not expired.
If this is how they handle paperwork, I'm glad we weren't able to schedule the surgery after all. read more
