I was told they closed thirty minutes before my call, but I received a voicemail back from the owner telling me she was there and would open the door for me. I walked in, and she asked me my price range and if I preferred candles, ornaments, etc. She immediately picked out something I fell in love with based on my likes and price range. As I was checking out, she gave me free samples of items and gave me her business card and told me to call anytime I couldn't make it up there before they closed. I was very impressed by their hospitality and attention to detail. I will definitely use them again!

I didn't get my mother a bouquet of bulbs, I bought flowers. I was so mad So last year I tried the Sherries Berries and they went over well but I felt the presentation just wasn't the same. I am looking for something to make moms eyes sparkle when she sees it! This year I decided to go local. The first local florist I called was difficult to deal with. I felt like she was trying to talk me out of working with her; coming up with roadblocks one after another. So I was ready to go back to the national carriers because at least the ordering process was simple. Reluctantly, I called Shepherd's and it all turned around. Becky was so helpful she took care of it all, which let's be honest, that's what I wanted anyway. I said well I just want something my mom will like, and I want it to be big so everyone sees (and gets jealous :p). She said no problem and I was done! She made the payment so easy and I got to set the price at what I wanted to pay and she worked from there. The flowers were STUNNING! The arrangement was HUGE, just what I asked for. Too big for moms desk even. Bust she was soooo excited to get these. She said "are you sure these are for me?" There was some confusion about what building she was in so when the deliver was made she said, sorry about the confusion to the deliverer who replied " no problem, your smile made it all worth it!" Let me stop and admit, that made me tear up! I imagined this drop off but never pictured it being this perfect. And to imagine she was so excited the deliver driver said something about it. You know she sees smiles all day, my moms must have been grinning from ear to ear! I am over the moon about this place and I literally cannot wait to buy again and get a message like this one from my mom!

My experience with this florist was incredibly disappointing from start to finish. The owner, had…read morevery poor communication, going 11 days without replying to multiple emails. See pictures below. When she finally did respond, she apologized and said she had been busy with funerals. If you're too busy to handle a wedding or any other orders, then you shouldn't take them on. We sent an inspirational photo, and what we received looked nothing like what was requested. The bouquet was poorly arranged, and looked like it was made with flowers you could buy at Dollar Tree. The quote for real florals was $405, and we ended up paying $376 for silk flowers... which weren't even full, had no realistic texture, and certainly didn't look or feel worth the price. I am confident I could have purchased better quality florals from Hobby Lobby. I had no problem with the price, I am happy to pay for quality work, which this was not. Initially the owner told me it could be finished early (Thursday). When I called on Wednesday to check the status, she hadn't even started it. My sister in law stopped by to pick up the bouquet and I was mortified by how it looked and my daughter hated it. Imagine HATING your bouquet? The focal point of the pictures. We asked for corrections on Friday, and Amber said she would reach out later. I went back 20 minutes before closing (we had not heard from Amber and it had been over 3 hours) to pick it up, and the adjustments still hadn't been made. As you can see in the collage picture, it is nothing like the inspiration picture and the colors were much more bold (happens with cheaper florals) instead of the muted colors we requested. She added way too many pampas and it was not cascading as requested. To make things worse, as I was leaving, the owner's husband made a condescending comment "Well you have a nice day" and one of her employees even confronted me in a very unprofessional manner, to which I did reply with a not-so-nice reply. I could have just left quietly, but this bouquet was supposed to be for the most memorable day for my daughter as she married her husband. The whole experience was stressful, frustrating, and completely unnecessary during an already emotional wedding weekend. After everything, the owner texted my daughter's maid of honor (who previously worked for her, and she had ignored her messages requesting the bouquet pricing until I brought it up to her) admitting she had failed to communicate and failed us as a client. Unfortunately, that admission doesn't make up for the lack of professionalism, communication, and poor quality we experienced. The least she could have offered was a partial refund for the poor work that she did. Save your time, emotions, and money, and find another florist.
