Lovley local nursery with a wide variety of flowers, herbs, veggies, and trees. All the plants look healthy and well cared for. The owner and staff were super friendly and helpful. read more

We are a Family owned Greenhouse and Nursery nestled in the Town of Lake, near Loomis, in beautiful Northeastern Wisconsin. Recently we have adopted a new business plan, part of which includes seasonal hours in this very seasonal business. Whether you were one of our regular visitors at our Crivitz location, or someone we'd love to meet, please feel free to contact us, we are never far from the greenhouse. We grow Annual Flowers, Vegetable Plants, Herbs, Succulents and Shrubs. We have a shady perennial bed, where perennials will be available as potted on a limited basis, but we invite you to make your selection and I will dig it for you for immediate planting in your bed. We are here to assist you in finding the right fit for you and your garden.

History

Established in 2007.

Kathleen Gilligan of Beech Road Gardens had been growing and selling home grown perennials for 10+ years, when she decided to open a store. After an exhaustive search for just the right place. She purchased a late 1880's Folk Victorian in February of 2007, the former home of Melba Miersch. The entire home was remodeled, with the help of family and friends and became what is now Green Thumb Garden Shoppe. It continues to grow and evolve on a daily basis in order to provide customers with the very best plant material, advice, gifts and sometimes just a laugh and good conversation. In 2011 we changed our name from Green Thumb Garden Shoppe to Petal'n'Roots! Same People, Same Place, Different Name!
