I searched on line for a florist shop in Defiance as I am not familiar with the area. I found three choices. There was one review for Fancy Petals and it was a very good review. I called and the woman who answered could not have been more helpful. My first choice was a bulb garden that my friends could then use the bulbs in their outside garden. Well, being February in Ohio, the bulb garden is not quite available. The Fancy Petals woman suggested a blooming Azalea that can also be planted in their garden when spring arrives. The plant was delivered exactly when I requested it to be delivered. The plant is gorgeous and very healthy. It is the perfect "welcome" for my friends and it will be a wonderful addition to their garden later in the spring. Thank you Fancy Petals! Most other places started their pricing at $25. One place started at $35. Connie at Scent of Heaven told me her corsages started at $12. I asked for a very full corsage with 10 blue tipped white roses and a specific color of ribbon. When I picked up the corsage, it was exactly what I wanted and absolutely beautiful. The quote was almost twice what I was expecting based on THEIR example of their last flower bar. I agreed thinking I would pay more to know I would have the correct amount. Bad decision on my part. What I receive was not enough for half of what I needed, most of which were not even flowers! Most of the order were what I would consider weeds you would see along the roadside! Mostly were filler items not actually flowers. Their leaves falling off, some did not even have flowers, they were just empty stems where you can tell the blooms where cut off. I literally had dispose of some of them. I ended having to go to Meijer to purchase a whole cart full of flowers to have enough for the shower the next day! Which were beautiful and cost less than the weeds they sold me!

I stumbled upon Fettig's Flowers back during the Van Wert Chocolate Walk in March. I came here…read morebecause it was one of the stops in the walk, they gave everyone a chocolate rose. I loved the flower shop and promised myself I would return... took months due to covid but glad I came by. It's more than just a flower shop, although they do sell flowers and make arrangements. But, while in there I found a number of little pieces of home decor that I brought home... two pieces because it had a spiritual significance to me. During the early morning hours of the day I went to the flower shop, I got up from bed because I was thirsty. It was still dark out and I walked from my bedroom towards the kitchen. Several of my plants and trees in my backyard are lighted and I saw this beautiful cardinal perched on one of the trees. I am from Florida so I had never seen a Cardinal before. Beautiful bird. Later that morning, I was telling my mother about it and all of a sudden the cardinal flew into one of the windows. It was ok and flew away but certainly it was startling. I then went to this flower shop and I noticed a little statuette of an angel holding a cardinal and it said: When a cardinal appears in your yard, it is a visitor from heaven. I was shocked. Next to it was another angel statuette of an angel holding a butterfly and it said Butterflies are the heaven sent kisses of an angel. When I was young, my little sister died. It hurt a lot and I remember I was told... perhaps as a way to comfort me that if I ever saw a butterfly... it was my sister visiting me. Ever since then, I have had a connection to them and they always catch my sight. I may have grown up, and I may understand that butterflies are just an insect... a beautiful one but an insect. Nevertheless, I still carry that idea/fantasy close to my heart. Seeing those two together, made me want to buy them. Maybe I am deluding myself, but I felt the need to buy them. The store has lots of other decor for gardens and such... including beautiful wind chimes which I also purchased. I love wind chimes! Beautiful store, can't say anything about the flowers because I haven't bought any, but this store is definitely worth a look!

I ordered a Mother's Day arrangement to be sent to a very special lady. When I saw the photo of what was delivered, I was very confused. It looked nothing like what I had seen online. Well, four days of back and forth with From You Flowers, had gotten nowhere. Today, I am called from my little sister, whose number I put on the order, saying Ms. Connie would like me to call her. I did, and boy, am I glad! She was the sweetest lady. She sent me a photo of what From You Flowers placed for me. It was COMPLETELY DIFFERENT than what I was looking at online. I sent her a photo of what I ordered. She said that she had all of these items available when the original order had been placed. Ms. Connie and her team put together a GORGEOUS arrangement and delivered them as soon as the could. Next time I order, it will be directly through Town And Country Florist. No more third parties, that's for sure! Ms. Connie and her team went above and beyond to make this right for me. And it truly means the world to me. Their customer service is is phenomenal.
