My husband's brother passed away and his employer ordered an arrangement from this business to be delivered to our home in London. Petals of Love left us a phone message at 12:20 p.m and I returned their call within 2 hours. I was told they could not deliver it that day and I told them we would be home the next day, Saturday. She informed me that they don't deliver to London on Saturdays and it would have to be Monday. I replied that no one would be home Monday as we work so she told me it would have to wait until the following Saturday or they could just leave it at the door. I was not comfortable having the arrangement just left on the doorstep in case it was taken or the weather was too cold. I asked her to call the sender and ask if that was okay with them that the berevement arrangement would not be delivered for over a week and to please call me back. Almost a week went by and I did not hear back from Petals of Love. Today, the day before the delivery was to be done (A week late), I received a phone message from Petals of Love stating that they could not do the delivery after all and I was to call to reschedule. I called back and told them that this was terrible customer service during a very sad time in our lives and to please cancel the order and refund the money to the sender as they are unable to deliver to London. The woman today apologized but the first time I called to arrange delivery the woman was very rude and told me that delivery was at their convenience not the customers. It is very sad to me that an independent business cares so very little for their customers and made a sad time in our lives even more stressful. read more
