The email form was right off their website. What did I hear back? Crickets... nothing. Why encourage people to send an email when there is not going to be a response?? Even if everyone but one person is away on vacation, surely that one person can reply to the email to just say... we received your email and someone will be able to call you on (date). These lawyers may be the best in town but it is not worth much if you cannot get ahold of them.

A significant health issue, which had a direct impact on child support, was completely left out of my divorce agreement. This oversight resulted in two more years of legal battles, during which I was left without adequate child support while facing serious health challenges. I later learned from a new lawyer that this issue should have been addressed in the original agreement and is now being classified as a pre-existing condition--something that could have been avoided with more thorough representation. While I have been advised I have grounds to take legal action, I have no desire to go through that process again. I paid for trusted legal guidance and was left vulnerable at one of the most difficult times in my life. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this firm.

At the time I needed someone to sign a power if attorney for me and Brad's office happened to be in the same building where one of my close friends had his at the time. That's how I came to hire Brad Minuk to handle my impending divorce. I inquired as to the cost as I didn't have much money at the time and was told that it would cost $1,000 all-in but I would have to do the filing work myself. I was also told that if I wanted Brad to do the filing up to and including the final divorce it would cost $1,500 all-in. I decided I could afford that and it would be worth it. Quite a few months went by, a portion of which time was my responsibility in getting certain documents to Brad and his associate. Brad used an agreement I had already worked out with my ex-wife to work out another more comprehensive settlement. I received some billing during this period but certainly not to the amount of $1,500 which I had given him in advance as requested. When the final agreement had been drafted I met with Brad again and was told that all the funds he'd had from me were used up and if I wanted the divorce to be filed and completed it would cost me another $1,000. He gave me all sorts of excuses, none of them satisfactory. As a result I then did the ENTIRE filing process on my own (without any assistance from Brad or his associates) and received my final decree in early March of 2019. She held back $2500.00 for a survey needed on our house we were selling. After 7 months she has not returned the remainder of our money. On the day we got our new house she had not transferred the funds for that house. On possession day we were not able to get a hold of her. After calling for three hours she finally picked up her phone. She had told us over and over that she is looking into returning our money. She has no staff on phones to take messages and refuses to answer emails, phone calls, or texts. She is the worse lawyer ever. We have bought and sold a few homes and have never experienced this before. I say DO NOT USE HER EVER!!!!! She is keeping the amounts under a certain number so that she can only be sued in small claims court. I would give her zero stars if they had that on here. We have put in a complaint with the LAW SOCIETY OF ALBERTA. We really hope that they are able to do something to protect others from being scammed by her.

Multiple emails were sent and not returned, disbursements weren't calculated in a timely fashion, and my realtor had to call a number of times to have the keys released. The other documents had numerous spelling errors and font irregularities, and requested edits were not made. It was a really frustrating process that we paid a large sum of money for. I would not recommend using this lawyer.
