He found the cause of constant headaches when I started (last doc had missed the center of my coke bottles by less than a pencil width and my eyes were fighting to pull to the proper centers) spends the most time with the severe astigmatism and other issues I and family have had. So much so I take the time to get there when I have vision issues. He has helped several shooters including some with advanced vision issues; Bullseye handgun shoots himself and has run IDPA if he can't do it you will be referred to someone who can BEFORE you dump a boatload of $$$.

While he was just needing his script updated I had actually been having a rough 24+ hours as I had slept in my contacts (1 night). Dr. Speiss knew my eyes were bothering me and I was just brushing it off. He made time to check my eyes and come to find out I had an ulcer in each eye. If he hadn't taken that second to just look and decide it was something that needed looked into closer I would have let it go and it could have ended up so much worse! He took the extra step even after this checking with my OB (5 months pregnant) Himself, to make sure the treatment was safe for pregnancy.

Dr. Morrow numbed my mother's eye, checked to see what the damage was, explained that it was scratched. Then he explained that he was going to use a bandage contact so that she would still be able to use her eye while the bandage contact would protect from further injury to her eye during blinking. He gave my mother his home phone, cell phone, and pager number just in case she had any other trouble. As if that wasn't going beyond what average doctors do... he even followed up with a personal phone call to check to see how her eye was coming along. My mother (who is on the phone with me) explains that she is almost 60 years old and has never experienced someone who has had as much caring and compassion for his patients. His passion shines brightly.

We arrived to our appointment on July 3rd at 1:45 pm and found a note on their door that they had CLOSED at 1:00 pm for the Holiday weekend!!!! We did not receive a call or a letter to reschedule!!!!! (I know when I made the appointment, I gave them all our updated information!) When I called and complained they made excuses and blamed it on a the girl that made the appointment and stated she no longer works there. No accountability!!!!!!! I will never recommend them!!!! They will close early at the last minute and not tell you!!! I left work at noon to drive my husband to his appointment only to find they left early for the holiday! While I husband was faced with a long weekend of pain from his tooth!
