Peterson Brothers in general, and Lance Peterson specifically, are both about as good as you can get at an extremely difficult time. Everyone at Peterson Brothers is a consummate professional, and everything was handled perfectly. There were no surprises nor was there ever any pressure whatsoever. Only rating this one star because zero was not an option. We did not use this funeral home for our dad's service. Dad's wife, however did use this funeral home. The funeral director, Lance, showed NOT one ounce of compassion when we stopped in to ask a few questions. He treated us like we were the scum of the earth. He basically told us that we had to pay for engraving on the tombstone because dad had left his wife "destitute." Too bad that Lance only knew what the wife wanted him to know. Too bad that Lance had to contact us in order to complete an obituary as the wife had NO CLUE who dad's sisters were... what the names of dad's kids were or where they lived... or that he even had grandchildren. He had no clue that she was abusive to our dad and isolated him from everyone he loved. For a funeral director to show no compassion to a grieving family does not deserve to be in the business he is in. I would never recommend him as a funeral director, and by default, because he works at this place, I would never recommend this place. If our dad knew how Lance treated us, he would be absolutely appalled. There is just no excuse. read more
