We paid almost $300 for Pete's to come to our home and fix our dryer. Two months later, our dryer is doing the same thing. We called them to see if they would be willing to give us a small discount or any money off if we were to purchase a new one from them, and the lady laughed at us on the phone. Unprofessional and rude. I have purchased quite a few things from them in the past including a stove, dishwasher, refrigerator, and then had them "fix" or dryer, but I will no longer be a customer here. read more

Shopping local is something important to us. So when my mom bought a remodeled home with all appliances from Pete's, I was glad. She went to use the oven and it didn't work. The temperature is 50 degree off. She called and explained the situation and whoever answered wanted to charge to come out to look at it. Typically, I would agree but the oven was literally just bought. It was a disappointment. We won't go back, there are other local places that have appliances. read more

I had a great experience with Pete's today, as our washing machine has been on the fritz and sounded like we needed new bearings. I was able to schedule a service tech to come out to assess our washer and provide a quote. He was very helpful at making sure he could come at a time that would work for us, and was very courteous the whole time he was in my home. As a woman , I usually feel trepidatious to have strange men in my home but didn't feel any type of unease throughout. He was able to assess the machine and verified our evaluation to be correct, that it would cost more to fix it than it would to replace it. I appreciated his insight as he recommended various products and brands to look into and discussed pricing of both new and used units with me. Overall, I would 100% use Pete's again for repair services and I'll be looking into their appliances after receiving great care today. read more

Called Pete's for a fridge that was freezing everything. Had my mother at my house for the first service call. She said they determined what wrong in less than 15 minutes. I was pretty impressed that they could determine that so quickly. The "technician" called me to let me know I needed a control for my fridge and said he'd call when he got back to the office to let me know how much it would be. Looked at the receipt he left when I got home and it said I needed a control. The next day, someone from the office called to let me know the fridge needed a control and a thermometer. I was a bit confused about the thermometer. Waited a week for them to come back. Had my son at the house this time. They came, put the parts in (or maybe they didn't?? My son wasn't staring over the guy's shoulder.) I was so relieved that I could finally buy some groceries and not have them freeze! Bought groceries on my way home work and put them in the fridge. The next day, they were ALL frozen! Called to see if I could get a technician to come out again, because I had company coming for a funeral that weekend. I was told there was NO way that could happen. Schedules were full. The "technician," however, did offer to come out a put a thermometer in the fridge to see if it was too cold. Obviously it was too cold! It froze all of my groceries! Of course, that would be another week away. If I owned a company, I would make a trip to a customer at the end of my day or send an employee. I guess a customer isn't that important to them. Quite honestly, I don't think the gentleman who came here had a clue what he was doing. I'm never using this company again! While on the phone with the "technician," he asked me what I was going to do. I told him I was going to buy a new fridge. He asked me where I was going to buy it. I know his next statement was going to be that they sell refrigerators. I saved him the embarrassment of having to tell him I will never spend another penny at his company. I'd rather use coolers! Very poor customer service!! read more

My refrigerator went down this morning. They came out right away. We called someone a year ago and he just said to defrost it. We did and the problem still occured. Pete's guy came in tore the freezer apart, thawed it, cleaned the drain, and put it all back together!! Thanks for an excellent job!!! read more
