I have been purchasing here for a few years and I have enjoyed the shopping experience every time. Even though the store has size limitations restricting some varieties of alcohol, they have all the basics of an established liquor store and a lot more. Their prices are more than reasonable which adds to the pleasure of shopping at this business. read more

The service is absurdly rude. Whoever the cashier is with the brown ponytail and glasses deserves to be fired. Had the audacity to say "I would LOVE to see her ID" when I went in there with my child. It's one thing to say "hey I can't sell it to you because" whatever reason, but the fact that he was a total snark about it is the reason I will never be going back. read more

Conveniently located, good selection, relatively affordable prices and a friendly staff. These guys will try to get you special requests from the distributor if available. This isn't the closest liquor store to where I live, but it is my go to store in town. As for a previous review saying that prices are higher here because of its location next to I-40, all I can say is that They are mistaken. I paid at least 10% higher for a bottle of Jameson at a competitor that is several miles farther from the interstate. Liquor prices are higher in Arkansas because the stupid county governments control the number of Liquor Licenses available and Conway County borders several "dry" counties. Hate high prices on booze? Blame your idiot county commissioners. read more

While we have typically had good dealings with Petit Jean Liquor Store, we stocked up on our holiday beverages only to find that everyone who drank the Penn Dutch Egg Nog purchased from there made them all sick. After our get together, many apologies to our guest, and the embarrassment, I went back to the store and talked to the manager. He seemed unconcerned and told me to contact the maker of the egg nog and complain to them. Based on his lack of concern and unwillingness to address the issue, we have decided to discontinue any business dealings with them in the future. As a store owner, I would have expected him to be responsible for the products he puts on his shelves. I provided my receipt and the empty container for him to check the the expiration date to which he had no interest. He said he wasn't going to do anything and I left. read more

It's right off the highway which makes it convenient but it also means the prices are higher than stores in town. They don't have any buggies or baskets so you have to carry everything in your hands. read more

I visited this location three times without any issues whatsoever. On my fourth visit, I brought my wife with me to help me carry things since they don't have any baskets, and the only alternative is to leave things on the floor, which is dangerous -- someone could trip on them. My wife helped me carry things to the counter. The employee at the counter asked for our IDs. I presented mine, however, my wife had forgotten hers after a long week at work (bless her heart). The cashier began to explain to me that it was the law for them not to sell any specific product that someone who forgot their ID carried to the counter. When I went to take the product back and ask if I could get something else, as I had to drive pretty far and came for a certain number of bottles of beer (I live in a dry county), a short-haired lady that I can only assume was the manager, out of the blue, loudly cut the other employee off as she was responding to my question, and rudely said, as I recall: "We don't care what you want! The law is the law and if you don't like it, you can leave!" That was un-called for. Not wanting to give this person any more of my business, I plainly and politely stated "I won't be back." While checking out, the rude lady came up to the counter and told the cashier to cancel my transaction. I'm not sure what to say other than what I already have: I won't be back. read more
