I'm really sad that this Petro has gone somewhat downhill in recent years. About six years ago I stayed at the Holiday Inn Express that is across the street and really enjoyed having this Petro nearby for easy access to bottled water and Starbucks. Back then it really was an exemplary stop. Now, the Starbys is gone, there is no replacement, and it really feels aged and lackluster. Does it have decent bathrooms? Yes. Does it have basic necessities? sure. So, it's not a total loss, just kind of sad knowing what it was in the past and the current state of it. Well this is definitely my favorite truck stop to take a shower on the way home on the 70 every time. It's just very new and modern with the rain shower and granite upgraded. TV in the shower room. The staff is always very friendly and helpful. Got Popeyes for fast but Iron Skillet if you want to sit down. Starbucks is major plus for me. I do enjoy this truck stop and prefer it a lot more than an other. read more

T.R.A.S.H - NO ONE WEARS MASKS Your forced to leave your truck to sit in an environment where the mask policy is NOT enforced. If you and need an inspection RUN AWAY. Hell, RUN AWAY anyway. I was nervous about coming to this place after reading the reviews. They were absolutely spot on. The night shift crew at this location are incompetent and lazy. I set my arrival time three hours before I arrived for an inspection through the app. I arrive and they informed me that my specific company inspector would not be on location for another two hours. They are suppose to pay attention to the trucks that are in que from the app but they don't. They should have called me to let me know that they would not have an inspector on site when I arrived they didn't. When I walked in the first shift crew was standing around bs'n instead of paying attention to the incoming trucks that had booked a reservation. So, after waiting the two hours I go back to the desk and get put up to bay one just to watch the shift employees smoking, eating, and riding the clock right in front of my truck opening the door thirty to forty five minutes later. They had attitudes for no reason at all (they didn't want to work). After my DOT inspection that took forever. Getting two tires installed took 3 more hours because the guy continued to sit back and bs. as the photos will show. They had some little boy a trainee i assume take his time installing my tires while they literally sat there and watched him work. When the work is complete I had to wait an additional hour because they submitted the wrong paperwork for my trailer inspection to my company. All which should have been caught if they were actually paying attention to their job instead of gossiping, smoking and eating. I really hope corporate takes a good look at this location. The wages you pay are going down the drain. read more

Most Petro are clean and safe. This is one of the better and new in this area. We normally get the truck washed all nice and clean just to have bug splatters the the next day. The iron skillet food is decent, especially when you don't feel like cooking. The drivers are cool, it's always an experience talking to a stranger you never know what life lesson they can give you if you just listen. Thanks mister I wish I caught your name. read more

This location used to be one of my favorite stops when I traveled through Kansas. They are getting rid of Starbucks and putting in a Dunk Donuts, and I'm sure it's a mixed bag of good and evil, but I prefer Starbucks coffee. The restroom facilities are absolutely disgusting. The men's room used to be clean, but on this visit, there is feces all over every stall wall and the floors. The toilet paper is minimal, which indicates it hasn't been cleaned all day. The women's restroom is just as wrong, but only one stall has a functioning door. I have been stopping here ever since I was a kid traveling with family, and it is an absolute disappointment seeing it fall to this state of neglect. People traveling deserve cleanliness because rest stops aren't always in the best condition. A facility that is 24/hr with staff on-site at all times should never be allowed to be so disgusting and unsafe to humans needing to take a break from the road. read more

Just stopped for fuel, pleasant cashiers, somewhat busy, as could be expected, but no line. Pitiful hot foods to go though, overpriced & not appealing. Bathrooms clean, but not sparkling. Better than some. Fuel aisle had soapy water for windshields & it looked fresh. read more

Will never have a pm done there again. First they put the wrong oil in it. Then next day truck is stalling and is getting no fuel. And was told no more free showers for service work because they are providing quality services, and go take a shower at Loves. You spend $358.93 and no shower so sad. read more

This is one of the best Petro travel center in Kansas. Let me remind you this it is a truck stop but also Auto Stop. Mainly they focus on truckers that sell stuff for them. Cool thing about this place has Popeyes and also Starbucks inside the store. very clean restrooms and showers. Other than why don't you stop and look for yourself. read more

I would give 5 stars if they had a tv room and more parking but for the lucky few who get to spend a night here it's awesome ! The shower has a tv built in the mirror , and also there is a ceiling shower and a wall shower head ... totally recommend the ceiling shower it's a great experience. It's always refreshing to see such clean restrooms and showers ! There is a nice selection of restaurants, really love the Starbucks addition! There's an Ihop next door and a iron skillet . This is a pit stop that has practically everything you need. A gas station to fill up, a Starbucks that almost got my order right, and a Krispy Kreme kiosk in the middle of the store.
