Wife was dying for a good Greek restaurant and found this place. Went in a little scared but were very pleasantly surprised. All of us loved the food even the kids. They don't have a kids menu but the beef and chicken souvlaki were both amazing and the whole family devoured it before I could even take a picture of it. Will come again next time we are in the area and looking for good Greek food.

Honestly, the food here is spectacular. Came in with a large group. Was seated right away, and our bottles of wine came immediately. Service was spot on. Never felt ignored. We started with a number of appetizers. Because of our large group everything was served family style. The daily crudo was snapper. So fresh and tasty. The octopus with the grilled tomatoes was grilled to perfection. Saganaki did not come out flaming but it was so perfectly grilled with lemon, we couldn't complain. 6 of us shared the super tender black cod. Apparently all of the seafood is from Diana's in Scarborough. A few people had the moussaka and loved it. Made with short ribs instead of lamb or beef. Will definitely be back again. Love this place.

I was looking for a restaurant for my partner's birthday near the movie theatre and found Petros82. I was able to book a table on OpenTable easily. We were booked in for dinner at 5:45, which was a bit early and the place was quite empty which meant we had our choice of table. We opted for a window seat near the front. The hostess was friendly and nice. We were served by the bartender and she was really lovely. We wanted to try a few things so we ordered 4 dishes to share. We left feeling full but not too full that we couldn't manage a popcorn at the movie. Before eating we walked around the restaurant per the owner's recommendation and had the chance to speak with the chef about the day's fish selection. They have new fish coming in each morning so it's unbeatably fresh. The focaccia and pringles came first. Both were delicious! Really enjoyed them. The octopus came next. It was a bit of a smaller portion but so tasty, especially the tomatoes. Finally, the souvlaki was really nice. The sauce drizzled over the skewers was amazing and the tzatziki was very light. I wasn't drinking, so our server offered to make me a mocktail which was delicious. I absolutely loved it. It was strawberry lavender! Service was excellent. The owner popped by twice and made sure we were enjoying ourselves. I made a note in my reservation that it was for a birthday and they were so kind and brought out a dessert for us to share. The food was delicious but the excellent service is what draws me back. I'm looking forward to dining here again!

A large 2-storey Greek restaurant located in the Entertainment District is nice and convenient for nearby theatre goers and business people! The décor is also very classy. Perfect for a date or night of celebration. Been here recently twice before shows at the Princess of Wales, which is in walking distance. It's a seafood restaurant offering all the usual Greek food and presented beautifully and with warm service. Staff are attentive throughout. The second floor is only accessible by stairs, however, and while there is a single washroom stall on the main floor - the rest are upstairs. The price is middle to high. But Mirvish theatre subscribers get 15% off with proof of membership!Expect market prices for fresh fish and seafood, which you can pick out with your server at a display by the kitchen. Be prepared for the chef and staff to ask you to KISS the fish for a shot! They definitely like a good laugh and party here. Food wise, it's good. Solid options from a twist on moussaka (super creamy and tasty, albeit a bit heavy) to whole fish grilled and served deboned for you! I highly recommend the grilled calamari as a starter. It was better than the octopus. And the squid ink seafood pasta is terrific!

Came here for a birthday celebration, and had a spectacular time. Ambiance is lovely and food is fresh, flavourful, and simply beautiful! Staff are very kind and attentive as well. I definitely recommend this spot for anyone interested in a delicious meal and a fabulous atmosphere

Had a great dining experience there during the Summerlicious. Food was amazing, great drinks and ambience, they had DJ during Greek dinner time, and the service was excellent. Ordered Seafood Tigania (fried seafood), Branzino (fish) and Chocolate Torta (Greek yogurt chocolate tart). The fried seafood consisting of calamari, fish and zucchini, was as good as what you could get at any other restaurant, not greasy. The fish was incredible - it was well separated so that you don't have to worry about the bones. Crispy top skin and juicy white meat on the bottom, stuffed with greens and pickled veggies including mushrooms. Drizzled with fresh lemon juice, tasted amazing. Dessert was great too. The Greek chocolateexcellent yogurt was actually rich, tasted like mousse, and the flavour just got elevated with the pistachio crust. Loved it. Drinks were great. I really liked the ambience here, nice DJ and the music wasn't too loud. The purple lights added some intimacy. Service was really good. The waitress was super friendly and efficient, she (Tatiana if I recalled correctly) helped adjust the bill splits and even packed the food for me, super nice. About a year old and serving some high class food with speciality being fresh seafood. Attentive and helpful staff. Good bartenders. Nice wine list and sommelier. And the head chef Tony Andrady greeted us and explained the fresh catches of the day.

I was just walking by and deciding to stop in, turned out to be some of the best fish I ever had. I sat at in the bar area, and was encouraged to look at the fresh fish. While I am not a huge fish eater, I was aiming for something healthier so decided to go that route. I have mixed feelings with the fresh fish on ice "show", sometimes it actually isn't that fish and I am not educated enough to pick the right fish. The chef met me at the area and we agreed the Black Bass was probably the best choice for me, in part as I never had this fish before. Turned out to be some of the best fish I ever had. When it was served, the presentation was beautiful, while it was filleted (a big deal for me), it was still presented as a fresh, whole fish. Not sure if it was the way it was prepared or the fish, but it was also great. Meaty, flavourful, could not have asked for more. I also ordered the kale salad, which was good but huge (easily could have served two or three). Before the fish, I started with the eggplant and zucchini "Pringles" (thin sliced fried veg) and while it tasted good, probably not as healthy as the rest of the meal. Will definitely go back for more fresh fish.

Patio is covered and heated and on Friday & Saturday nights will only offer bottle service and dance parties with a live DJ. We made a reservation for Friday evening on the patio. Unfortunately, the servers seated all couples cramped in one corner, even though there were many tables available; that made everyone uncomfortable. We ordered Red Wine, "Trio Dip" and "Spaducci Skewers". The food was delicious, but we could've enjoyed our night even more if the sitting arrangements were better.

The seating arrangement was cramped, uncomfortable, and felt completely inappropriate for a restaurant that presents itself as an upscale dining destination. What was even more disappointing was the manager's attitude. When I politely raised concerns about the seating and overall setup, instead of showing professionalism or courtesy, he was dismissive, defensive, and surprisingly rude. There was no attempt to listen, understand, or improve the situation. The serving staff were polite and did their best, but the management completely overshadowed their efforts. The level of service is nowhere near what you would expect for the prices being charged. Unfortunately, this restaurant lacks the professionalism, hospitality, and attention to customer experience that are fundamental to fine dining. I would not recommend Paros to anyone. There are many better options in Yorkville that actually understand customer service and treat guests with respect.

The rice was actually a lot better than I expected. I know it's just a side, but rice at times from other Greek places isn't that great, and this was much better. My wife had the mix grill plate, and I helped. She absolutely loved the lamb. It was largely over the quality and the prep was fairly standard, but there's nothing wrong with that. The other parts didn't jump out, but were still perfectly good. The service was very attentive.

The potato layer feels fluffy and sandwiches thinly sliced eggplant, so the aubergine is rather pronounced. The ground beef mixture wasn't overly spiced and even the bechamel sauce was a thin layer, so it toasts the top but doesn't saturate the slice. Ultimately, it's not heavy so you could get through a full portion. A flaming saganaki ($19.95), the pan fried kefalotiri cheese, is a staple in Canadian Greek restaurants. It seems touristy to order but there's something endearing about setting a piece of cheese on fire and yelling "opa"! For me, the dish is more for the atmosphere than taste. Pantheon pan fries the cheese well, so it develops a crust even prior to flambeeing and serves it as a thick gooey slice. If only the accompanying bread wasn't so dry and mealy, a good saganaki calls for a better complement. Almost all their mains arrive with a sizeable Greek side salad that's smartly served first containing ample amounts of crumbled feta and some tomato, cucumbers, and onion over romaine. Their dressing is different, tamer and while still acidic there's a sweetness to it. Not sure, but perhaps they use a red wine vinegar and then blend the ingredients together so it's better combined? With the fishkebob souvlaki ($36.95) I was expecting fish, but it's really a seafood kebob containing shrimp, calamari and mushroom. It's cooked well with a faint grilled aroma, very tender, and lightly salted. Sadly, my steamed vegetables were merely carrots and didn't have the delicious garlicky green beans included on my friends' plates. Luckily, there was plenty with the moussaka so I could augment mine. At least there was an ample portion of roasted lemon potatoes that were soft and fluffy with a refreshing pronounced citrus finish. Pantheon doesn't skimp on the lamb chops that arrive with the entrée. And if you can't decide on what protein you'd like, their menu also offers some as add-ons. The lamb chop by the piece ($11.95) was bit gamier than I'd like but was cooked to a perfect medium doneness. A complimentary honey cake arrives for the table and is almost like having baklava in cake form. Just watch out, as the moist crumbly cake is difficult to pick up with a fork. Don't waste a bit of this delicious dessert, just use your fingers.

Me and some family members were in the area, and decided to give it a try. We were greeted and seated promptly and then, for the longest time ... nothing. As it turned out, we'd spend a lot longer at this restaurant than we had anticipated. After about 20 minutes, a kind and apparently exhausted waitress appeared, so we ordered drinks and saganaki to start. 10 minutes later, our drinks appeared, and we ordered our main courses then. Although the menu gave prices for wine by the glass, half litre or bottle, we were told that they don't have enough wine to offer any more than a glass at a time. Strange, and unexpected. Eventually, the saganaki (Greek flaming cheese) arrived, and it was really, really good - a generous triangle of grilled, flaming cheese, easily split between the three of us. It was served with some odd bread, which resembled buttered and toasted hot dog or burger buns. This helped take the edge off our hunger as we waited for our main course. And waited. Looking at the time, I noticed that we had already spent over 60 minutes in the restaurant, which was extremely chilly on a cold winter's evening. Many customers, including us, wore their coats throughout the evening. Apparently, the restaurant dining area is heated only by two electric fire places. Our waitress came out and let us know that we had to wait because my daughter's order of octopus was taking a while. At this point, we had already committed to being here, so we had no choice but to see it through. Finally, the food came out. My daughter's octopus was, sadly, overcooked and tough, but still tasty, and the lemon roasted potatoes were excellent. My husband's roasted lamb did not seem like it was prepared as a roast, as there was no browning or roast] flavor, but seemed to have been prepared in a pressure cooker or slow cooker. I had ordered the Moussaka, and had high expectations, based on my memory of Milo's creamy, eggplant-filled, nicely seasoned Moussaka of my distant, long-ago previous visit. However, my portion of Moussaka had the oddest texture: rather mushy and grainy. The well-seasoned, savory tasting ground beef of my memories had now been transformed into a rather average-tasting ground beef mixture that would have been equally at home in a sloppy joe. And I could not find an eggplant in the casserole at all ... well, maybe it had somehow been reduced to such mushiness that it lost it's eggplant quality, but I could swear that it was missing. It was all edible food, though, but not up to our expectations. I hate to give any place a lowly, two-star review. I had hoped for much more, because there is so much about Milo's to raise one's hopes: it's not a big chain, but locally, family-run; it has an appealing and timeless Mediterranean decor; and the menu offers many interesting Greek choices. A few small changes would be an upgrade: better bread, some additional staff and a few space heaters would be a good start. Milo's is the type of restaurant that I would love to support, but I've read enough reviews with similar observations that I am unlikely to return.

Beyond the presentation, the cheese itself was excellent... crisp on the outside, warm and soft inside, and really well seasoned. Easily something I'd come back for. The mango ginger spritz was light and refreshing, not too sweet, the Australian lamb chops were cooked nicely, tender, and full of flavor without being overly heavy.
