Our boarding facility in California: 1. Charges $30 less per day. This is Oklahoma, not California. The prices should be priced accordingly. 2. Has a dedicated play area for each kennel which is considered an indoor/outdoor run. This is open 24/7. 3. The kennel's owner or staff are on the property 24/7. Our issues with TDR is if they really cared about their tenants, they would have staff on duty 24/7 for emergencies. If something happens after 6pm, your pet is screwed. They won't be checked on until 6 the next morning. That is not acceptable in our book. Another issue is our dogs can't hold their urine for 12+ hours and they urinated on their beds. That NEVER happened at our kennel in California. Now, we have to replace 2 expensive dog beds and to top it off, a dog chewed off the corner of their feed container. Our dogs are trained and wouldn't do that. Needless to say, TDR is off of our preferred list of boarding facilities. A sad lesson learned on our part.

My accusations have been substantiated personally. Firstly, she will up charge, for example, her clinic suggested I go with the more expensive allergy medication on a monthly basis, when in fact there was a less expensive option approximately $100 less. Furthermore, I was able to verify that it was not necessarily needed monthly depending on the severity of my pets allergies. In other words, if my pets allergies did not return, there was no need to continue getting monthly treatments, although, I would receive monthly notifications that my pet needed more shots. In addition, Dr. Pfeiffer was verbally deceitful directly in conversation with me personally, in which her claims were proven to be untrue and in which she knew firsthand. In fact, the outright deception was of her making. Dr. Pfeiffer brings shame to this medical field. Although I cannot prove it, I would imagine the majority of veterinarians do not operate their business at such low standards. I will NEVER darken DR. Pfeiffer's doorway EVER AGAIN and in fact, I would not suggest Dr. Pfeiffer to my WORST enemy. In closing, the primary purpose of this review is to encourage others to ensure the veterinarians treating their pets are indeed ethical, and have your pets best interest at heart. And now I must admit, I have been waiting on this review for far too long. We found Dogville about 6 months ago when we were looking for a possible boarding facility for our then 7 month old border collie/terrier mix. She is extremely energetic, and love people/dogs, but has horrible separation anxiety when we have to leave her. We were hoping for two things: a safe, responsible boarding facility where she would feel welcomed and loved, not trapped, and a daycare to help get her some exercise during a long work week for us. We have easily found both here, and I cannot even begin to imagine sending her anywhere else. After only 2 times of bringing her in, the staff members knew her on site and were excited to welcome her in. They gave us assurances her first several times in regarding how she was doing, and even continue to check in with us at pick up or they have a spare moment. We have run into staff members at community events, and my pup treats them like any other member of the family. She rushes to get in the door, and isn't even nervous to leave us anymore. The staff members are so kind, and attentive, both to owners and animals, and do an absolutely amazing job making sure everyone is safe and cares for appropriately. We now take her to daycare at least once a week, and always look forward to stories about her playtime. They were even able to dress her up and take birthday pictures of her for us because we unfortunately had to be out of town the day it happened this year (I'll attach those here). They have such cute opportunities and features, keep the facility clean, and above all else, truly care about the dogs. I recommend them to anyone and everyone I can, and will continue to do so.

A few months ago i took my dog there with an ear infection. When i tried to make an appointment the woman on the phone was extremely rude. She blew me off and told me she would call back later, but never did. when i called back, she full-on screamed "BECAUSE WE'RE BUSY" at me. I'm worried about my dog who is clearly suffering; i don't deserve to be screamed at because I called an entire *two times* trying to make an appointment . Because i am an idiot, i continued with the call and made the appointment. Despite me straight-up telling the very bad incompetent doctor that my dog had an ear infection, he swore that I was wrong and he did not have an ear infection, but rather, a pulled muscle. i believed him and started giving him painkillers for that. When the painkillers ran out and my dog was still miserable, i took him to a different vet. Guess what the problem was?? an ear infection!! and i didn't even have to get screamed at to find that out. Still, everyone has bad days. Whatever. But today i saw someone wearing a "Carbondale Vet Hospital" T-shirt. Thats right, they cant manage to take care of animals or be a good vet, but they can sure screen print some merch!!! Opportunistic and disgusting. NEVER go to these scammers.
