The staff are extremely helpful and will go out of their way to make sure you get all the help you need. They will help you with product information so that you get the products that you need and not necessarily the most expensive. The petfood prices are normal to slightly cheaper than other shops and the same goes for the pets for sale. They have clean well kept cages in the shop and the animals appear to be healthy when we were in there. The shop is disabled friendly as it is on one floor, the aisles are fairly wide to allow wheelchair access.

When we drop them off, waving goodbye with a tear in our eye, they don't even look back and are off with the girls for their holiday! The staff and owners are really lovely and friendly, and you can tell they love the dogs! When we pick them up, they are happy and in perfect condition. The fact that when we drop them off, they are so happy and excited to see the girls speaks volumes! Would recommend them to anyone, 5 star hotel for dogs!

Did go with an 8 year old and 7 year old, which led to one being too tall to do something he wanted (pony ride) and the other been too small (go karts) so that may be worth considering and researching but it's a wonderful spot and, as I say, we go every year!

We didn't go to the resto as it was heaving...the shop of course was a must and we bought a tea towel... The staff were very helpful and informative. A very nice wander about; very relaxing - and it was a lovely day weather wise. Definitely a place for kids and there are things for them to enjoy and to keep them busy

Our Collie girl recently passed away, and Simon was gentle, and extremely caring in carrying out his vet duties. Our cat and lab are still alive and kicking and coming up to 15 years of age in November. Simon has a very gentle way with animals and I can't speak highly enough of the level of service and care we've received from all the vets we've seen over the years, primarily Simon though. I would highly recommend Ikin and Oxenham in Ottery St Mary.

This is a really lovely cattery. The owners are really warm and friendly and I had no worries…read morewhatsoever about leaving my two cats here. There are heated beds for the cats to sleep on as well as outside runs which are connected to their units so they have somewhere to stretch their legs. The prices here are reasonable and they are quite flexible about picking up and dropping off times as well. They are also happy to accept viewings if you wish to have a look around before you make a decision on whether to use them or not.

However I visited solely to look to buy a…read moreselection of marine corals for my reef tank. what an absolute disappointment . whilst the marine fish look OK, although the tanks look a bit uncared for the coral tank is just dire. I have been keeping marines for over 30 years and anyone who keeps a tank like this should be ashamed, let alone someone who expects to sell the inhabitants for were top prices. There was a lot of rock that probably had some life on it long ago and a sad selection of softies that looked in very poor condition and overpriced for what they were. The best thing they could do would be to sell off what is still alive, sort out the water quality and re-stock, or just pack up. Why waste my time driving to look at a sad unhealthy collection. Give it up or pick it up, apart from anything else it isn't fair to the animals in their care. The hobby doesn't need these people. Steve
