I have been going to different groomers for the past 5 years and finally decided to give Petsmart grooming a try based on the good reviews. I am so happy I did! Natasia and Taryn have both groomed my dogs and the job is first rate, top notch. They pay attention to details, ears, feet, nails, coat, sanitary areas are all done perfectly. Its so nice to have a thorough job done. So many other groomer miss things, but not these folks! Highly recommend; you will love this place. My pom looks like he's ready for the runway. Thank you!

We have just recently had to look for a new groomer, sadly the lady that used to groomer our golden doodle (Dipper) passed away. We searched and searched and could not find anybody with availability. We finally decided to try PetSmart. We were very reluctant but Dippers hair was getting out of control. When we arrived onsite we were able to speak with NATASIA (the manager) things were hectic at the time and she took her time to answer our questions as well as listen to our concerns. When we arrived to pick Dipper up, we were ecstatic with the job that Natasia did. It looks like we've found our new groomer.

I just took my puppy Charlie to PetSmart today, Meghan M was his groomer. She did such an amazing job! I cannot give enough praises to her. I have yet to find someone that is nice and does an amazing job on my dogs hair. I will definitely be going back to her! I highly recommend!

I bought the bed while on our trip. They love the bed, they both lay like this in it.

I was traveling through town a few weeks ago and wanted a doggie bed for my pups. I forgot ours at home, and I had also been wanting to replace one of them at home anyway. I looked on yelp for the nearest pet store, and this came up. We happened to be close by, and it was 5 mins to closing. They were very nice and let me come in as they were locking the doors. I told them my situation, and what I needed. They told me to go in the right direction to look for pet beds. They have a really great selection. It was hard to make a choice in a small amount of time. I ended up going with a cheaper bed compared to some of the nicer ones they had. The one I chose was still pretty nice, and has plenty of room for my two Pomeranians. They have a great selection of anything you need for your dog, and what looks like for your cat as well. The employee's were very friendly, and knew where everything was. I was thankful they let me in even though they were wanting to lock the doors. I really felt bad, because I know what that means when they are closing. Everyone wants to close up, and get home to their families, not wait on just that last customer that just wants that one thing. So thank you.

Scott is amazing, and we can't recommend Chill Out Dog Training enough!…read more We adopted a 9 month old, 80 lb (now 110 lb) golden retriever from a local rescue in mid-2023. A complete contrast to our older collie/aussie mix, he was full of energy and naughtiness (a puppy), and a nightmare to control. Prior to being surrendered by his (previous) family, he went through two weeks of out of home boarding/training, costing upwards of $7,000. We thought this would have helped with obedience, but boy were we wrong. Fast forward two and a half years, sessions with a certified behaviorist, and failed attempts to use an e-collar, we were at a loss. He constantly displayed leash reactivity, would lunge at cars and dogs, and made it so we would rarely walk anywhere. He almost broke my finger during a break free lunge at a dog completely across a residential street! At home, dog forbid another animal appeared on the tv; he would jump and bark at everything. Then we found Chill Out... After the very first session with Scott, our big boy golden was a different dog. Scott set is up with the right tools to refocus our dogs behavior and break him of his leash reactivity. That very first walk was pleasant and uneventful. We almost felt foolish for claiming bad behavior. What we needed was the right trainer and methods to help our dog change behavior. Like I said at the beginning, I can't recommend Chill Out Training enough.

Scott has tons of brilliant advice for owning, housing, training and feeding dogs. He is truly a Jedi master of all things dog. Keep in mind that you need to be proactive to engage Scott for ongoing training--regular "check-ins" are not part of his routine, which he explained to us before we hired him. We can't recommend Scott enough. Watching him work with our pup is truly amazing and the results have been worth it.

We have two dogs: a 6.5 year old, 80 pound Black Lab mix, and an almost-1 year old Corgi mix. The…read morelab mix has always been pretty good inside, but we got her right before COVID started, and whenever the door opens she freaks out and barks at and jumps all over whoever is coming in. Outside, she cannot be trusted off a leash, because she will just literally run away and come back when she feels like it. The Corgi mix is a sweet guy but we got our first notice from our HOA that we have a nuisance dog. He has been incessantly barking at the hallway when we're out of the house. Walking them together is a nightmare because they both zip off in different directions and you become an acrobat trying to manage the leashes. We attended initial 8-week training sessions at PetSmart with both of them, and they can sit and lay down, but anything more than that is wishful thinking, and a sit/stay does not really translate into actual obedience. Scott helped us fix almost all of that in about 90 minutes. Scott's approach is to talk to dogs like you're a dog. To get their attention, you basically growl at them, and imitate(!) snapping at them if necessary (I want to emphasize that there is no physical punishment for the dogs), and you assert leadership, and then when they are doing the right thing, you talk to them sweetly. My wife and I love this because it's so simple and consistent. We don't have to remember when to use "stay" vs "wait." Which hand signal do we use for this command vs that command? It's "bah!" and "gooood!" The first session was all indoor behavior, and since then we've had two sets of friends over and gotten the lab calmed in about 2 min vs 10 before. The corgi is much less growly/barky about hallway noises. Since we did leash training in the second session, both dogs follow respectfully on walks. Like, it was a near instant improvement. It's not perfect, but with the lab it's gonna take some time because she's had 6 years of thinking she's the boss! But the technique is so simple that it's easy to apply to new situations. The lab likes to jump up to steal food from the counter at my dad's house. A few "bah!"s with follow-up "gooood"s and that stopped cold after 5 years of it being a habit, and we didn't need to leash her the entire time we were there! It's expensive, but the speed at which we've seen improvement has made it very worth it, and knowing we can call Scott for any stuff that comes up in the future makes the price easier to handle. For example, we're hoping just the general increased respect/deference from the lab mix will allow us to eventually let her off leash, but if it doesn't, we know we can call to address that directly.

Two of them are my problem children: a Rottweiler mix foster fail who is reactive to bikes and other dogs and occasionally nervous around people like visiting contractors or UPS men, and the other is a 100+ lb Brazilian mastiff rescue from Aruba who is not fond of other dogs. The two of them began showing increasingly worse dog aggression toward other dogs on the trail and while camping, and had attacked several dogs by the time I found Loyal Hound/Juliet. I was at my wit's end, because I had already spent thousands of dollars and tried everything including other trainers at that point with little to no progress. I felt stuck with 2 big problems for the next 6-8 years. I hike at least 3 miles every single day off leash on the trails by my house, and I love to camp with my dogs in the summer, but they became such a liability that walks became stressful and camping became impossible. I finally found Juliet with Loyal Hound, and for our very first session we met at a crowded park and were going to be doing off leash training right away. I was so nervous -- all the triggers were present: other people with dogs on leashes, dogs off leashes, people on bikes, squirrels -- so I was absolutely AMAZED when we were walking my Rottweiler off leash through a gaggle of geese, past people on bikes, and past other dogs within a few minutes with no problems. It was nothing short of a miracle. Within a few sessions, I had both of my dog aggressive dogs walking on and off leash next to me, passing other dogs (sometimes dogs that were even barking at them) on trails safely with no reactivity. I cannot explain in words how much of a difference this has made in my life -- I feel like I got my life back. If you have a dog aggressive dog, this is the place to go. It's WELL worth the investment, and you will be amazed at the difference you will see in your dog. Thank you Loyal Hound & Juliet!!

We have a…read moreShepherd/Cattle Dog mix (high energy, high intelligence), and before meeting Bruce, we had tried multiple trainers, most of whom were only okay. Initially, we knew some basic commands, but the biggest struggle we could not overcome was our dog's obedience or reactivity concerns. Before Bruce, our dog did not do well with other dogs and people on walks, and guests couldn't come to our home due to fear of being accidentally hurt by him. Our lowest point was when our boy bit a lady at a local Farmer's Market, where we were attempting to do some training with him, and he became startled. We utilized as much of the training we had worked on with other trainers, but it wasn't enough. That's when we called Bruce. Here's our experience: at the initial meeting, we were very impressed with Bruce's resume and we could tell by his skill-set that he would be able to turn our boy around. Bruce had over 15 years experience working with dogs who were relinquished due to aggression or behaviors at a local humane society, turning them into confident, obedient and adoptable dogs. Not to mention, he also trained in Germany for 3+ years overseas with a military-style training for police dogs. Bruce uses a combination of high-drive reinforcement and timely corrections One thing to keep in mind though, you get out what you put in. If you aren't willing to do the work, Bruce might not be the right guy for you. We were pretty motivated and found a lot of success with Bruce. Within the first few sessions, we saw noticeable changes in our dog's behavior; he was gaining confidence through the consistency and training Bruce taught us about. Bruce's ability to fine-tune all the mixed signals we were giving AND giving us detailed explanations of why they were important to correct, completely changed everything for us. He even explains the science behind some of the techniques, which we appreciated. Our closest family and friends knew all the struggles we had experienced with our boy before Bruce. They have been so impressed with how much progress our dog has made. We would absolutely recommend Bruce to anyone needing dog training. You will be able to tell the passion and love for what he does the first time you meet him!
