They open at 8 am but you should be here 45 minutes earlier to beat the crowds. It's first come first serve so the later you get here the later you get out. I recommend them because it's worth the wait. Unfortunately they're not open on weekends. So book early if you want an appointment. If not show up early and your pet will be seen.

Since I promised to help my mother take care of the expenses, and this kitty was pretty sick, me living in Florida and my mom in PR, I found myself often calling this hospital for consultations, to discuss procedures done and bill. Even though this was all done on the phone, the staff here was very patient with answering my 100 questions and taking time to talk to me and explain everything. My mother was very happy with how everything turned out. Staff is very attentive, understanding and patient. While in PR, this past Christmas, I was able to visit the facilities and meet the people who I had talked to on the phone so many times. I'm convinced the vet here loves and is passionate about what she does and I'm so content my mom's kitty, Gatún, is doing well and taken care off. Only downside is they only take Cash, and with hospital visits usually being on the expensive side, this was often an inconvenience, but a manageable one.

Dr. Bobé, who was the first to treat her was always attentive and loving with Atena. She clearly explained to me that although Atena was going to be under treatment, occasional seizures could still happen. Well since she's been on her meds, she haven't had any seizures until yesterday's morning, when she had one. After that in the early afternoon she had another and although I was concerned I understood that it was totally normal. The problem was when at 6:30pm approximately she had one like none before. Her head began to shake and her teeth could be seen like when they are growling. That made me feel very scared, so I called the emergency hospital number. For my surprise when I'm at the phone I could hear Dr. Vega shouting while telling the secretary What was she supposed to do at that hour with an epileptic dog? That why I didn't called earlier if I knew the dog had this kind of seizures? She can't bring her here we're her last words before the secretary came back to the phone. I obviously was upset I felt she was calling me an irresponsable mom when I just needed a prescription for emergency treatment of the seizures. Finally after all her horrible show they told me they could give me an emergency treatment, so I went and bought it. All I say shouldn't this people be more humane? Couldn't she just tell me there's an emergency treatment you could use come and get it, instead of yelling over the phone when I was clearly under stress and feeling bad enough of seen my baby under those conditions? It is a shame this woman gets to have such a beautiful profession only to benefit her pockets. It's obvious she was mad I called twenty minutes before they closed; going home was her priority and not treating Atena. SHAME ON YOU!! Dr. Vega.

Today, they take care of my new companion dog, Karma. She's 5 months old. They did all her vaccinations, medications, deworming, and will spay her in a couple of weeks. The entire staff is so kind and loving. They always remember Karma's name and are excited to see her. I guess I'm welcome too. . I can't recommend another vet, and there is no one else I trust with Karma's health. The line can be long, but be patient and play with some puppies.

I took both of my dogs on July 10th 2025 for ear infection and cleaning. It was a bit weird to me…read morethat I had to weigh my dogs without the assistance of a technician and then walk over to the reception and give them the weight. My smallest one weighed 16.9 pounds on that day. I went 4 days later to neuter my dog and when I weighed him again in the same scale (mind you that there was a young girl with her dog in the scale) and it turned out he weighed 23.4 pounds. Per the doctor the procedure started around 9 ish and I was told that they would call me when he was ready to pick up. I had a call from IVANA at 12:20 pm )I have time stamps on my iPhone call log) stating that his nails were long and if would like to have them trimmed. She stated the price and I agreed. 4:30 pm came around and no call to check up on him. I called in at 4:59 pm to inquire and I was told that I could pick him up. The dog was fine and breathing normally. I followed the post operation instructions to the T and gave him the medicine as instructed. My dog sadly passed away. When I called the next morning to notify of the passing away the first thing that came out of her mouth was that the cone was to tight. Which it wasn't since I tried it on him before I took him. When I picked up the dog the day of the procedure I had to loosen the cone. And then I questioned, myself, how are you going to call me about a non life threatening nail trim but you didn't tell me a bout a tight cone. Then she change her explanation about how French bulldogs are frail and breathing problems, and that's why I paid her extra for the procedure to be assured that he was going to be under constant watch. She showed absolutely ZERO EMPATHY. Only instilled tactics to make me doubt. Red flag number one. She then said for me to sue her or make a claim. When I checked the tablets labeled as Trazodone 50mg given exactly as prescribed I found out that they were a 100mg dose. After consulting past vets that know the amazing healthy dog he was they were a bit dumbfounded about the use of a tranquilizer for such a simple procedure and even more so for the negligence of labeling one dose and dispensing another dose I've sent my dog to a vet for a necropsy review and pathology to see what was the cause of death. All this happened in less than 12 hours. I'm not interested in pursuing monetary compensation, that's not going to bring my dog back or fill the huge void I have in my heart. I just don't want this to happen to anyone else. I want accountability for dispensing a wrong dose in a lower dose label. I went with the cops to make a report of the incident and she trespassed me from her property . I'm sure that she will reply to this review saying that it was my fault just like the other 1 star reviews that denotes the gouging and lack of empathy . No accountability on the practice and everyone is wrong. Mind you that she advocated against neutering/spaying strays but yet she practices it for profit. This dog was very well taken care of with a track of good health and wellness exams. AKC certified and spectacular genetics. I'll make my decision about my course of action pending the results of the necropsy. Please stay away from this vet practice or please check they have dispensed the right dose as per the lable. No es la primera vez qué vengo para lo mismo y siempre me hacen esperar entre media hora a una hora a pesar de llamar una hora antes para evitar la espera en lo qué lo preparan. Y encima de todo, hay qué venir antes del mediodía los sábados porqué no despachan medicamentos después de esa Hoy botaron la bola....tras de llamar una hora antes y venir de Humacao, me hacen esperar una hora para decirme qué lo último qué les quedaba, lo utilizaron para otro perro. No recomiendo ésta clínica bajo ninguna circunstancia porqué el servicio es horrible y pésimo, además de qué las personas qué atienden al frente no sirven para manejar público y menos dueños de mascotas qué vienen con sus mascotas enfermas ó envueltas en algún tipo de accidente. Es una verdadera pesadilla.
