I have never in my life met had to deal with someone so unprofessional as the store leader Kayla Shaw at this location.
06/18/2024, my dog received services for a groom. In the notes I put for this groom, I requested that the dog's tail not me cut. My mom dropped my dog off while I was on Facetime with her. I heard the groomer ask my mom about the tail and I heard my mom said "Please do not cut her tail." The groomer says okay, I see that here in the notes. Of course we get a dog with a cut tail. We decided to brush it off because we really have never had any problems with this PetSmart before.
On 8/19/2024, we decided to go back for the same service and the same dog. We ordered the summer plus package which includes, a bandana, cookie, and coupon book. We are frequent customers of Petsmart, especially with the addition of a new puppy, so the coupon book was something I was looking forward too.
My dad went to pick up the dog and she did not receive the coupon book. When I called Petsmart about 30 minutes after her groom to let them know she never received the book, she told me to come back and we will give her all that stuff she never got in the first place. I'm at work so I wasn't able to go and my dad had left 30 minutes ago and with traffic, returning back was just not an option. I did let the manager know this and that I lived an hour away. She said that she would mail the items.
I waited for about a week and received nothing. So I reached out to PetSmart customer service to express my extreme frustration with the groomers just not following the notes and then to top it off not giving me services I paid for and also saying they were going to mail something and did not do it.
After speaking with customer service, the extremely rude Kayla Shaw decided to email me back (in the picture) saying that she is sorry I did not get the items mailed to me on 08/21. As of November 10 (three months later), these items still have not made it to me. If she found the time to email and mail the items, why was a tracking number not provided? These items were never sent in the first place. Also, instead of just giving me the items I never received, she added a $10 certificate for my next groom. I told her that I was not interested in that and I just really wanted my items. I sent this message to customer service at Petsmart again. Kayla calls my phone and she left a voice message in the most sarcastic tone ever how she would loveeee to have a phone conversation with me since I'm sending emails, as if I would be afraid to speak on the phone to her. I called her back and at the end of the conversation, she then replies to come in for a full refund. I found it very interesting after I got on the phone not rude or anything, how her sarcastic tone of voice suddenly changed. I guess she was expecting me to be rude, but I am nothing like her and have no reason to be rude to people.
We eventually got the refund about a month later and I was satisfied. If my services were never rendered, the only option is a refund. I got my refund and said I would never return to this location.
I thought nightmare with this location was over. I go to book my dog for a bath here in Alexandria. Come to find out Kayla blocked my dog from being booked at every PetSmart location that exists. At this point I am FURIOUS. My dog has never done anything wrong. Petsmart Stafford dropped the ball. You all don't follow grooming notes and you have a spiteful store manager. Your solution is to block a customer from grooming at all Petsmart locations??? I was able to get the block off from Shelby and she said she would forward this information to Kayla.
I'm imagining she is going to put the block on again because yes I did file yet another complaint, because I refuse to let Kayla be the bully she thinks she is. read more
