I had my dog's groomed here, both have been groomed multiple times at other businesses and received nothing but positivity. I picked them up and there was an additional charge for handling that was not communicated to me. When we got home we noticed multiple cuts on one of ours dogs(that they did not mentioned to us) and he still had dirt on him. Would not recommend grooming at this location. read more

3/18/23: Stopped by with our new puppy and I asked Maegan for help in the dog leash section. Had the pleasure of meeting Daniel, and he walked us through the different types of harnesses, and how to put them on. He was very patient with our puppy and friendly to us. We chose a harness and continued to shop. I met with Heather and we talked about different kinds of puppy food. We picked out some treats and food. After we made our purchases, we decided to go to the fish section. I picked out some Cichlids and Heather came to get them out of the tank. This was our first visit to this location, and we had a great time, conversing and shopping. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and made us (and our puppy) feel welcome and valued. I took my 13 pound puppy for grooming , including a nail grinding. He has been three 3 times previously for nail grinding and never was told there was a problem. When they called to tell me he was ready they said they were unable to grind his nails because he didn't behave well and peed on a groomer who tried to hold his legs. Hello, you're a dog groomer. If you can't handle a 23 pound puppy you should find another job. The groomer, Madison tried to tell me they had only his nails once and that his behavior was noted then. Me and my daughter went to PetSmart to get a friend for our other fish. The first thing that caught my eye was how dirty the tanks were. Almost in every tank there's at least 1-2 dead decomposing fish. It upset my daughter. I understand that fish are small and not many people care about them but they have beating hearts. Their beautiful colors faded. This was a horrible experience. The betta fish on the other hand. Oh my god. I can't accept the fact that people can be so cruel. The fish are screaming for help, in those tiny containers. I hope that in the future things will change positively. read more

These groomers have been getting worse and worse. Bad attitudes, aren't really good with dogs, and will find any excuse to not work a late schedule appointment. The best groomer that I have ever been to in my life recently left this store. I don't know if it was by her own choosing or if the working conditions there ran her off. I happened to call to try and book an appt. on the same day she left. On two occasions I called trying to get information on how I could contact her and even left my phone number for them to give to her. That lying SOB chick that I spoke to on both occasions said they would contact her and give her my message. I asked for her name and then I asked who would be making the phone call and she said either the new store manager or the assistant store manager - and I asked for their names as well. Guess what, they never relayed the message to her. Not surprisingly. Both times when I asked to speak to the "manager", they put some chick on the phone with a real "B" of an attitude and tone. Oh, and trying to call their corporate office to complain - that's a joke in itself. I would follow my groomer across the metroplex to groom my dogs if I had to - she was that good. But Petsmart and their terrible working conditions somehow managed to run off the best thing that ever happened to their grooming salon. Unless you're already using someone that you know and like at this place, I would not recommend this place to anyone who's looking for a new groomer. Liars! read more

Didn't appreciate when the groomer got angry at us for checking in A MINUTE, yes you read that right, A MINUTE late. Told us it would be additional time because of it. We had to wait in line to check in which is why we were late. Also didn't receive a call when my pet was ready, got a weird notification instead. read more

I'm sure they are okay groomers, we unfortunately had a negative first experience and will not be going back.. Don't book online, they do not read over the "notes" portion to understand your pets needs, try calling to book instead so you can have a better experience than we did.. we have found that petco is not as expensive and better customer service for owners. read more

We got 5 dollar delivery for 2 42 pound bags of cat litter, some cat treats and a big bag of cat food. The prices are much better than the grocery stores. The delivery was right on time and friendly. I absolutely loved it! read more

I have never been so disappointed in a pet groomer than I was today. I scheduled my two Miniature Schnauzers for grooming today at PetSmart. They results were disastrous. My selected groomer did not perform the service. A different groomer, Alisha, did the service. She was awful. She shaved down the skirts on both, but the skirt was uneven on one of my dogs. Aylisha also trimmed their eyebrows unevenly. The beards were butchered. It looked as if she trimmed one of the beards without even combing it. Both of my dogs did not have their butts shaved, which is important to prevent poop from getting caught in the hair. To add to the problems, the salon tried to charge me for a Standard Schnauzer, which is a larger breed than the Miniature and as such costs more to groom. Don't go there whatever you do. The service was awful and the manager was rude when I complained. read more

This PetSmart is typically clean and well stocked! Plenty of toys and gear for your pets needs. Staff tend to hang around chatting with each other instead of helping which is a bummer. I waited in a line for 20 minutes last time with one register open who was waiting on a manager. Line was long, yet a group of employees were standing nearby chatting. Finally one of them noticed the growing line of impatient customers and opened another register. Parking is good. Have not used their grooming services or their vet, but it's good they offer that. read more

I have always had amazing service at PetSmart grooming. My mini poodle has been going there for years. She has become deaf and blind and they are so cautious with her. I've also watched them work on other pets while I am waiting. I have never seen anything but quality care and concern for the pets I see there. read more

Unbelievable grooming experience from @petsmart. Two hours after she's there they call to tell me that they are sedating her to stitch her up because they cut her and need the approval! 2 hours after that I call to see how she is and I am told the doctor needed to speak with me and will call back.. I have to wait another hour, 3 HOURS now from when this happened, and am told the same story and if it's ok to sedate her... Their excuse for that waiting period was there were "other dogs there with appointments." In 3 HOURS they could not atleast make her presentable instead of this five-and-dime hack job! I booked an appointment online, there were 2 time slots available 730 pm and 8 pm. I chose the 8 pm. When I show up the workers tell me, they start cleaning up at 7, and they may not be able to complete bathing my dog. I question why was I allowed to book the appointment and given a confirmation only to get there and be turned away. I speak with the manager and his response is to call the corporate office. According to the website, the grooming area is open until 9. If you are not doing that, then it should be management's job to have it corrected, not the consumer. I'm very dissatisfied with the way this incident was handled. Pet smart does not have to worry about my grooming business again. read more

I usually go here to get my dog's nails clipped and buy treats or toys. The employees were not wearing masks and there was no shield at the register counter. There certainly wasn't any social distancing in that transaction. I was required to have my dog bathed in conjunction with having her nails trimmed, because of corona virus. It seems hypocritical to have this policy when the staff are not wearing masks! read more

Just picked up our two pups from the grooming. They had a great experience. The groomers were really friendly and seem to really listen to the type of haircut I was asking for. One of my pups did not do too well while getting groomed so another groomer took over. I loved that they communicated that to me and assured me everything went great. I don't know what happened to this place but we'll never go back. The last two visits the grooming was incomplete after waiting 4 hours and spending $80 each time. As I watched and listened to the grooming staff during the last pickup I realized how truly incompetent this place has become. We took our cat in for grooming a long time ago and I was surprised that they said one price and when I went to get him, it had increased significantly. The bill said it was a "dematting" charge. He didn't have matts. The groomer said this was a standard charge. I was not happy because I felt like this was bait and switch. I emailed the manager and she offered me a refund. I figured I was never going back so I deleted the emails We took him to another groomer and were happy, except that he developed severe dandruff afterwards. So I called Petsmart to ask if they were still doing the "surprise" mandatory upcharge. The groomer had gotten some garbled message from the person I talked to first and she went off on me and wouldn't let me explain what I said. She kept talking over me. I told her to show some courtesy and let me finish, which she finally did. She said the "dematting" fee was "scissors" and something? So not really "dematting." But that's what showed up on the bill. Then she said that she "always" explains when she books a groom. This was never explained to me. Obviously, it wasn't about the money or I would have taken the refund. It was about integrity. (And B.T.W., the fixed price is now $84.00 and they no longer add the upcharge). Then she she didn't like the way I was talking to her! So for sure never going back there even if I have to wash my cat with Head & Shoulders myself. read more

Horrible grooming experience - 1st and last visit. Check in was unprofessional - no overview of service or opportunity to speak to the groomer. Cut was horrible - no consideration of the breed or coat - just shaved. We will have to wait months for our dog's coat and natural shape to regrow!!! Groomers appear unprofessional obviously just going through the motions with no orientation for customer or pet service. While waiting for our dog, one of the other groomers hurt the dog that he is working on, causing the dog to cry out in pain. The groomer's only response was to shrug it off. Who does that and not at least try to console the dog? So, if that happened to someone's dog while I was in the waiting area - what happens behind the closed doors??? I get my shitzu-mix groomed here frequently, and I stopped in to see him getting his haircut and I was disappointed to see the way he was being treated. Pulling him by his mustache isn't necessary, I do understand being a groomer takes patience and it can get frustrating with uncooperative dogs. But at the end of the day, any job takes patience and care. I won't mention any names, but I hope someone reads this, and something changes. read more

ICE COLD WATER BATH FOR YOUR PET! BEWARE! This location does not have the best interest of your pet. No hot water at this location for weeks and they continue to operate giving dogs freezing cold showers but they do not tell the customers in advance. The water is ice cold for your dog since the hot water heater has been broken for weeks but customers are not informed when the pet is brought in and the dogs are left in shock/shivering (I found this out from an employee I know a week after I brought my dog in). If only your dog could talk.... This facility should not be bathing pets in ice cold water or at least inform there customers before proceeding but I wasn't even informed when bringing in older frail dog. This was brought up to management only to be told that there is a ticket to fix it but has been this way for weeks. Makes me wonder what else they do not tell the customers about what is going to happen to their pet. read more
