Just had a lady call me today named Christine. Very snappy and rude. Never spoke with such a rude recruiter. After she asked what kind of salary I was looking for, she got snappy for some unknown reason and didn't like the salary I was asking in order to be interested. You don't attract good candidates with that kind of attitude and rudeness for no reason. Do not even bother to go through them for a job. Especially, if they are going to practice the kind of behavior the recruiter exemplified. Stay away if you want professionalism. read more

I’ve spent many years in the staffing industry and founded Pettit Staffing with a simple goal: to keep the human connection in recruiting while helping local businesses find dependable employees. I work closely with both clients and candidates throughout the Willamette Valley, placing talent in administrative, manufacturing, skilled trades, and caregiving roles. I believe in meeting people face-to-face, understanding their goals, and helping them move forward in their careers. Though he was not able to help me with a job, he was honest and that is something that doesn't happen regularly today. Jim told me he reviewed my resume and after careful consideration and searching he said with my resume and job history (I've done clerical but more of waitressing) that I will probably have better luck not going through them as they mainly concentrate on labor and clerical and right now there's no clerical openings (that goes through his staffing). He brought up Salem/keizer school districts as my most recent job was with north Albany schools. He brought the webpage up and showed me all the opportunities. He took the time to go through a few of the jobs and painted me in the right direction. In the end, he wanted me to find employment/paycheck rather than waiting for a call from his agency and wasn't sure when that call would be. He didn't want to string me along with hopes for however long. I don't know him personally, but was treated as a friend who was looking out and concerned with my daily life and all the responsibilities that come with it. The gentleman at the store had become verbally combative and argumentative. His initial solution was to replace the new screen with the broken one and refund my money. I agreed as I could tell negotiations were deteriorating and could possibly lead to an excalated situation. They did not uphold their word and bargained agreement as when I arrived, they then said that no refund would be given and they would not be honoring their original service guarantee. I dont know what has happened to customer service these days, but it definitely seems to have taken a drastic nosedive.

At first you really have NO idea how much is needed with a deep clean. But if you think about it, would you EVER want to start cleaning your home half way then try and remember what you did versus what you did not do? Right, we don't work like that [no woman ever does when it comes to cleaning our own homes]. So Jackie came to the house to assess the first initial deep clean, discuss my needs, my concerns, answer my questions. And I had to get a feel for what she was, how she was, who she was, and what kind of deal was taking place. I'm a weirdo, I fully admit this. I don't like strangers in my home, I don't like socializing in public. THIS IS MY SANCTUARY. And truth be told I'm a stage 5 klinger. Once you have me as a client I may or may not be quite something to deal with. I know high maintenance when I see it [and I'm it..no shame in my game]. When I found this service on Yelp, they were one of two narrowed down, and quite frankly I just liked what they had to say, so they got the bid, pure and simple. AND when I asked her about her staff [because I was worried about turnover in todays economy and the service industry] she was a little taken aback. BUT she defended her staff and TRULY likes her staff, and her retention rate was great, she mentioned. Okay, I will take her on her word. In comes the first deep clean..here we go. She warned me it was a FULL day.. and it was. When I tell you there were no less than 10 people in this house top and bottom floors, I'm not joking. I watched them like bees in a hive. I've owned rental properties throughout the Midwest, I've retained MANY move in, move out and continual cleaning services. But I have never seen what they did. None of them spoke a word. Yet in tandem, did things I never even thought to do. There was no weird odor, no smell, no chit chat, no laughing no talking no nonsense. This group was HERE TO DO A JOB. I sat here, in my chair, in AWE and watched as [what I call kids..all in their 20's and 30's] worked like a successful unit. Here is the truth-I was exhausted. It almost brought tears to my eyes. Watching my home being transformed into something immaculate, my sanctuary becoming spotless. One by one cleaning and picking up as they went, by the end of an 8 hour day they were gone and I had not recognized my home by clock out time. What they did, SHE SAID THEY WOULD DO. No sitting on their phones, no loud music, no TEXTING, NO TALKING TO ONE ANOTHER WASTING TIME.. I was so appreciative you have no idea. I watched them ALL like hawks, but there was ZERO to watch for. It has been months now, and today was my cleaning day. You will not know they are there. You will not know they are gone. I am still in awe, I am STILL as grateful as ever and they will have a lifelong client as long as they are in business. This is a 100% factual based review. I have no skin in this game, I do not know them, but I will tell you this. THEY ARE A PHENOMENAL BUSINESS MODEL. And you would be foolish not to try to secure their services.

I was looking for a temp agency where I could actually go in and talk to someone. When I called, Caty didn't tell me to just fill out an online application and wait to get contacted. When I showed up to talk to Christine, I liked that she sat down with me the whole time. She walked me through everything I needed to fill out and what job might be the best fit.
