Contacted for a quote on my scratched countertop. They sent out a guy who does laminate instead of someone who does Granite repair. He took pictures and said the granite guy will have a look when he gets back to the shop and shows him the pictures. 2 days later they said they couldn't help. I suggested perhaps pictures don't say the whole story and they should've sent the guy who does the repairs for his opinion. I guess they didn't want my business so I had someone else do it and it turned out great. Don't waste your time here.. they just can't be bothered to send out the right people or give a real estimate. Sad.. read more

I called PF Custom Countertops based on the suggestion of a colleague. At school, our classroom has hexagonal tables (2 of them make a hexagon) and they needed refurbishing. We had originally considered to get new tables, but the price and the availability made this option impossible. I wrote to this company and they promptly wrote me back. I sent them a photo and some measurements and within a week we had one of their associates emailing me back to make an appointment to come to school (after 4pm) to confirm and take precise measurements :-) From this point, they wrote us back with a quote which was more than fair for new table tops. One of our Board Members went in to confirm the colours (we are an Italian language school so we chose red, green and white :-) ) and they were more than glad to assist us in finding the right shades. Once all was confirmed, we had our table tops installed TODAY :-) This because, though they normally do installations only during the week. They were able to accomodate our school schedule and come in today at 9am. Timely and efficient, the gentleman that came to do the work was really nice and done by 10:30ish. He asked if we needed the old tabletops and if not was ready to take them away at no extra cost. He even remarked that what we ordered for our school was something the shop was glad to do since it was so "unique" an order :-) In light of how easy it was to contact people at this company and have them follow through in good time was one of the best experiences to have, especially since it has to do with our classroom and needing the tabletops to ring in the New Year! I had Chris in to replace a porcelain undermount sink in a granite countertop in my main bathroom. Chris was pleasant, punctual, efficient & very knowledgeable. Honestly.... the worst experience in my life!! They denied saying they promised me by a certain time and just made excuses! Then the manager tried to hear what I had to say while his salesman continually denied what I was saying! WOW... if my staff acted that way, they wouldn't be there! PERIOD! In the end... he wasn't able to resolve the problem and offered no apology or suggestion. I drove 40km and had my carpenter booked for the next day!! That was sad.... Thanks!! Then they tried to modify an online review! lol They may have good prices, they may even offer SOME customer service because they received your money.... But god forbid should you have a problem.... that they created!!! I would NOT recommend PF Custom Countertops to anyone!! read more

We got granite countertops for our kitchen from this company. We went and chose the sample. Then when the guy came in to measure it, he brought a sample, but it didn't seem as pretty as the first one I'd seen, not as sparkly. He told me I needed to come in and see the stones since all stones are different, which is a really good idea, but I was really overwhelmed and live rather far, so I couldn't; instead the staff there took pictures of it, talked at length with me over the phone about it (I was difficult and they were so great and patient). Anyways, they came and installed it a couple of weeks before the time they had told me it would be ready, which was fabulous, and the granite was far far more beautiful than either sample. I still can't believe how fabulous it looks...full of all these beautiful sparkles and veins...it is incredible! I feel like I'm up in some sacred spot in the mountains with this stunning stone. After a few days, in the sunlight I noticed this tiny scratch on the surface, and someone from PF Countertops came right over and spent hours buffing it out. Great company! read more
